Where in Wales should you go on holiday?

Where mid-wales

With the Easter bank holiday starting right about now, as people leave work for four glorious days of respite, many people will be heading off on holiday. The break will also inspire people to look into booking breaks for later in the year. With that in mind we thought it was about time we gave people some help picking their destination for the summer. Obviously, we want you to come to Wales as we have more than 300 cottages here, but where exactly will be best suited to you? From our Tenby holiday cottages on the south coast to our Llandudno holiday cottages right up in the north, we think we've got every aspect of holidays in Wales covered... so let us convince you! Tenby - best for family resort holidays Tenby is a lovely little harbour town and seaside resort. It boasts all the attractions of most seaside resorts in Britain but is also incredibly picturesque and within easy reach of many of Pembrokeshire's brilliant family attractions. Snowdonia - best for walkers Where SnowdoniaOur holiday cottages in the gigantic and mountainous Snowdonia national park are perfect for keen walkers, who want to stroll around in beautiful countryside all day before settling down in a luxurious cabin. The area offers wonderful isolation but also has plenty to offer to those looking to indulge themselves, with many of the small towns having wonderful delis on their main streets. Equally good for walkers are our Brecon beacons holiday cottages, set in the national park in South Wales. Lleyn Peninsula - best for extreme sports fans The Lleyn peninsula is home to Abersoch, which is synonymous with watersports. The town is home to the annual Wakestock wakeboarding festival and also sees kite surfers and other water enthusiasts flocking to it all year round. It's also just a short drive from Anglesey and Rhosneigr - a mecca for windsurfers. Newgale - best for lovebirds SONY DSCOur Newgale holiday cottages are set in one of the most picturesque areas of Pembrokeshire, where windswept beaches meet plunging cliffs. Watching the sunset here with a loved one is a wonderful way to spend an evening, before heading back to a luxurious cottage for a glass of wine and some quality time together. Mid-Wales - best for shorter breaks If you're only spending a short time away, then our mid-wales holiday cottages may be best for you, especially if you're travelling from England. They offer all the comfort, luxury and peace of our other cottages but aren't located quite so far away. Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons are still within reach and the Welsh marches make for beautiful surroundings, so this really is the best of both worlds.

The Perfect Holiday Cottage in Wales

Quality Cottages offer an extensive range of holiday cottages in Wales and houses to rent for holidays throughout the coastal and rural countryside of Wales. Our cottages are available in as many as nine different areas covering Pembrokeshire, St Davids Peninsula, Cardigan Bay, Brecon Beacons, North Wales, Snowdonia, Lleyn Peninsula and Anglesey.

We have an extensive choice of Cottages to rent throughout Wales, with cottages by the sea, coastal cottages, near sandy beaches and, of course by the serene Welsh lakes.

The infinite beauty that surrounds our luxury cottages is simply awe inspiring. The combination of land, sea & skyscape has been the inspiration for many a great artist, writer, poet and photographer over the years, both famous and amateur.
Whether it be large holiday cottages, log cabins in Wales, or cottages by lakes you are looking for, we really do have it all. The mountains, the coastline, the picturesque countryside and lush river valley, all twined with the vast wildlife, history, art galleries, water sports and activities are all waiting to be discovered and explored on your holiday in Wales.

Fifty years of hand picked holiday cottages, in fact over 50 years! We were one of the first and still lead the way in high quality cottages, as the name suggests. What started in Pembrokeshire soon expanded around Wales. Our in depth knowledge of the coast and countryside of this country is second to none.

For knowledgeable advice on cottages in Wales, call our team. We are not an outsourced hard sales company. We are a family business with genuine knowledge of the property and area. Our mission is to find the best cottage for you!

Dog friendly cottages.

Dogs are welcome in the over 80% of our cottages. We love dogs, they are part of the family. If you aren’t sure which cottages are best for dogs, give us a call and we would be happy to talk you through it. In fact for every 100 holidays taken with us, 108 dogs come on holiday!

Wish to avoid a cottage which has pets? We also have cottages which specifically don’t accept dogs.
