  • Aberaeron has lots to offer - take a stroll around the quay and streets lined with brightly painted elegant Georgian houses, browse art galleries, visit the Aberaeron Sea Aquarium or take a catamaran trip (also available for hourly/weekly charter) and see the wild life - dolphins, seals, sea birds - and the rugged coastline of Cardigan Bay from a different perspective.

  • Red Kites can be seen feeding daily during winter at the Red Kite Centre and Museum at Tregaron. Take time to learn about the Kites and other local wildlife as well as the cultural and rural heritage of the area.
  • Jen Jones Antique Welsh Blankets and Quilts at Lampeter is well worth a visit. Jen's extensive knowledge and her wonderful stock are fascinating.
Caws Cenarth (cheese)

Cwm Tydu Seaside Award Rural Beach
  • This delightful secluded cove almost hidden amongst the rocks near New Quay once was the haunt of smugglers and pirates. Now Atlantic gray seals come ashore to give berth during autumn. The beach is predominantly shingle with sand at low tide.
