3 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 6. 1 en-suite (walk in shower, washbasin, toilet) bedroom with king size bed on ground floor, 2 twins on 1st floor (both with sloping ceilings and velux windows)

Bathroom on ground floor, Jacuzzi corner bath with shower over, toilet, wash basin.

Kitchen well appointed fully fitted with split level electric fan oven and radiant hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine.

Lounge/dining room stone inglenook fireplace with multifuel stove, 2 x 3 seater sofas, flat screen Freeview digital tv/dvd/cd ,stereo system. Dining table and chairs seating 6.

Fuel gas central heating inclusive May – September £45 per week outside these dates, starter pack of logs.

Grounds good sized enclosed garden with private patios, lawns, garden furniture and barbecue. Access to woodland clearing beyond – please supervise toddlers here.

Welcome 2 dogs @ £20 per week each

A stylish, beautifully restored spacious cottage with high standards set in the sleepy hamlet of Penmon near Beaumaris, Anglesey.

The cottage is furnished in an uncluttered, tasteful style with a large stone fireplace in the lounge with a wood-burning stove and an en-suite ground floor bedroom.

French doors lead from the living/dining room out on to a patio area with fine views over a woodland clearing and Menai Strait to Snowdonia beyond.

The pebbled beach and café at Penmon Point with its ruined 13th century Augustinian Priory are within an easy walk and lots of other activities locally include walking, sailing, fishing and golf.

Do visit the historic medieval town of Beaumaris 4 miles away5 with it’s moated castle, excellent shops, restaurants and tea rooms - take a walk along the pier to enjoy spectacular views of Menai Strait and Snowdonia.

Leave from the pier at Beaumaris. Choose a leisurely cruise to see abundant marine wildlife and glorious scenery or try your hand at fishing with the help of an experienced skipper.

Menai Suspension Bridge & Bridges Exhibition

The world's first major iron suspension bridge was built and completed in 1826 by Thomas Telford to improve links between Anglesey and mainland Wales. Britannia Bridge was built by George Stepenhenson with his son Robert as chief engineer to carry trains. A Bridges Exhibition can be seen at the Canolfan Thomas Telford Community & Education Centre in the village of Menai Bridge.

Bodafan Mountain

Bodafan Mountain is actually a hill but it is the highest point in Anglesey. A walk to the top is easy from where a small lake can be seen. To the east of the hill is an iron age earthwork and to the north east are several ancient sites.

Visit Wales' largest marine aquarium with over 150 species in carefully recreated coastline. Children will love the Bone Free Zone, Big Fish Forest, Shark Pool and Shipwreck.
