5 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 8 adults & 4 children plus travel cot on request. Master bedroom with sea views, super king size bed, adjoining bathroom with separate shower, rear double bedroom with en-suite shower room, both on 1st floor. Bedroom with super king size bed, sea views and en-suite shower room, rear double bedroom with en-suite shower room, both on 2nd floor. Large children’s bedroom/playroom with 2 sets of bunk beds, wall mounted Freeview tv, dvd player, 2 x 2 seater sofas, lots of games and puzzles and fabulous views.

Grounds small front paved area and lawn, rear patio, garden table and chairs, barbecue and 7 steps up to lawn – please take care there is a trampoline which may be used but entirely at your own risk!!

Parking for 1 car in front of house but ample public parking 2 mins walk.

Beach House Newport Parrog
  • Almost on Newport’s Parrog Beach and close to the Boat Club this elegant, spacious early 19th century family home (one of a pair) is spread over 4 floors, ideal for large families or family re-unions.
  • There are shutters on the windows, lots of window seats, original wooden floors, high ceilings and stylish furnishings throughout – antique furniture, stunning original paintings, beautiful mirrors, bronzes and ceramics to take pleasure in.
 
Aga & Woodburning Stove
  • The open plan sitting/dining room has a woodburning stove in an elegant fire surround and a welcoming Aga sits in an inglenook in the dining area where there is a large table perfect for long, leisurely meals and tv/radio/dvd.
  • French doors open from the dining area onto the rear terrace and garden and there is a separate fully equipped modern luxury fitted kitchen with an integral eye-level microwave/combi-oven.
 
Rooms with a view
  • The master bedroom with its adjoining bathroom is on the 1st floor and has panoramic coastal views and the rear double bedroom, which overlooks the garden, has an en-suite shower room.
  • On the 2nd floor there are 2 additional double bedrooms, both en-suite, and on the 3rd floor is a large children’s room with 2 sets of bunk beds, Freeview tv, 2 x 2 seater sofas and fabulous views over Newport and Carn Ingli to the rear and the whole sweep of Newport Bay from the front.
 
Newport
  • Newport is a small picturesque medieval town with a Norman Castle and Church with ancient streets and pathways leading directly to the River Nevern Estuary teeming with wild life.
  • Newport Parrog and Newport Sands, both with stunning views are separated by the River Nevern Estuary - ancient stepping stones, accessible at low tide only, form a short cut between the two.
  • Parrog Beach is tidal and has a slipway for launching boats with a long established boat club at the far end.
 
Newport Sands (Blue Flag)
  • A mile long fantastic stretch of golden sands which sweep around Newport bay - ideal for swimming, windsurfing, sailing and canoeing.
  • There are award winning restaurants, cafes and pubs for family dining, an old fashioned butchers/greengrocers, health food shop, alternative therapies and an antique shop all within a 10 minute walk.
 
Preseli Hills near Newport Parrog Beach House
  • The Presili Hills and Carn Ingli (Mount of the Angels) form a backdrop to the town – wonderful gentle hill walking and pony trekking country with fabulous views – Snowdonia, the Wicklow Mountains and St Davids Peninsula.
 
Gwaun Valley
  • Do visit the mystical Gwaun Valley, where New Year is celebrated as in the Greogorian Calendar and ‘Bessie’s’ – a local with a difference as well as Penlan Uchaf Gardens and Tea Room.
 
Poppit Sands & St Dogmaels
  • Climb aboard the coastal bus ‘Poppit Rocket’ and visit St Dogmaels, Poppit Sands and Cardigan – a relaxing way to enjoy this beautiful stretch of unspoilt coastline.
 
Y Felin, St Dogmaels
  • One of the last working water mills in Wales producing traditional stoneground flour. Do enjoy a tour of the mill and try some of the delicious cakes made using the flour in the tea shop.
 
Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort, Felindre Fach
  • This fascinating and unique reconstructed fort dating back to 600 BC has been rebuilt on the original site in a beautiful woodland setting. You can step inside the roundhouses and grind flour to make bread just like the Celts used to.
 
Poppit Rocket, Dedicated walkers bus
  • Walkers can walk one way along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path then hail and ride the bus back to their start point. The service which runs along the coast is ideal too for trips to the beach.
 
The Last Invasion Tapestry, Fishguard
  • The last invasion of Britain by the French in 1797 has been comemorated in the form of a 100' long tapestry worked by an army of local needlewomen. The impressive tapestry can be seen in its own gallery in the Fishguard Town Hall.
