- Agreeably furnished with full heating and log effect fire for comfortable cosy evenings and patio doors opening onto a pretty garden with magnificent views for sunny days. An ideal 'get away from it all' any time of the year.
- Peacefully situated on a hillside in 18 acres of meadowland this is a comfortable home to relax and unwind in or as a base from which to explore the surrounding tranquil countryside - a wonderful walking and cycling area which is dotted with timeless small market towns.
- Stabling and grazing for 1 or 2 horses with paddock and direct access to miles of traffic free bridleways in the Radnor Forest. Miles and miles of tracks with rarely any transport.
- Presteigne (one of the top ten places to live in Britain according to Country Life magazine) is a short drive away and has lots of good restaurants, shops and a leisure centre.
- Do visit the award winning Judges Lodgings' which featured in the BBC 2 acclaimed series History of Britain by Simon Schama. Explore the upstairs, downstairs life of the Victorian judges, their servants and felanous guests.
- Knighton (the town on the Dyke) is steeped in history and the Offas Dyke Centre here is well worth a visit before setting off along the footpath
- Ludlow (capital of the Welsh Marches) is home to the famous Michelin Star restaurant 'The Merchant House'. There is a market (3 days a week) interesting shops to browse in and panoramic views from the battlements of the ruined 900 year old castle across the River Teme to the hills beyond all within an easy drive of this solitary Welsh Marches cottage.
- Wild Red Kites are fed at Gigrin Farm (22m) near Rhayader every day of the year - watch dazzling displays of aerial piracy as they compete with buzzards and ravens for the tastiest morsels! With 5 large hides this is possibly the best place to see and photograph Red Kites in the whole of Europe and in this part of Wales there is the greatest density and diversity of birds of prey in southern Britain.
- Enjoy wonderful walks, cycling and days out when holidaying in this peaceful solitary holiday cottage in Radnor Forest.
- The Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre at Kingswood, Kington make a wonderful day out. Friendly animals crave attention. There are miniature horses and donkeys. Waterfowl, ducks, geese and swans can be viewed from a raised board walk and the owls are in an intimate garden setting.
