3 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 6 plus travel cot.
1 twin and 1 double on 1st floor. 1 double en-suite (shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin) on ground floor. all bedrooms are furnished to the highest standards with luxury bedding and throws.
Towels provided.
Bathroom on 1st floor with full suite and shower over bath.
Kitchen luxury, fully fitted with split level electric cooker, microwave. dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/tumble dryer. Breakfast bar seating 4, high chair, door leading to patio.
Lounge/Dining Room large inglenook with woodburning stove, ‘L’ shaped chocolate coloured leather couch seating 6, wing chair with matching foot stool, wall mounted plasma tv with Sky Plus, radio/cd, oak table and chairs seating 6.
Fuel oil central heating inclusive May – September £30 outside these dates, logs for woodburner free throughout the year.
Grounds fully enclosed with lawn, patio, wooden garden furniture, barbecue. Ample Parking.

About this cottage:
- Distant glimpses of the sea at Whistling Bay from this traditional stone farmhouse set at the foot of a hillside and surrounded by beautiful pastureland.
- Elegantly and stylishly furnished, the farmhouse has thick stone walls, an inglenook fireplace , tiny windows and pretty cottage bedrooms – traditional with a modern twist.
- Beamed ceiling, inglenook fireplace with log burning stove, comfy leather sofas, cosy armchair, cottage window, wooden floor and colourful rug make the sitting room a delightful place in which to relax.
- The elegant dining area has a honey coloured table and chairs with complimentary curtains over the door in true cottage style and in the pretty little deep set window.
- From the patio there are lovely views of surrounding fields and stunted ancient oak trees which on hot days shelter cows and calves.
- In the summertime the hedgerows of the surrounding country lanes are thick with banks of bluebells, cow parsley and red campion - everywhere bright yellow gorse with its intoxicating musky smell.
- Whistling Sands (NT) and the white washed little village of Aberdaron, set at the water’s edge, are both close by. Aberdaron has a Spar supermarket with a Post Office and the Eleri Stores is a newsagent, off licence and sells ice-cream and fishing tackle including frozen bait. More extensive shopping can be done in Pwllheli 18 miles away.
- Uwchmynydd (Above the Mountain) (NT) – a heather clad headland above Aberdaron which is criss-crossed by footpaths and from where there are spectacular views of Bardsey Island, magnificent sweeping bays and tiny rocky inlets.
- Walk the Lleyn Peninsula Coastal Path and enjoy the breathtaking views and bird and marine life.
- Lleyn Adventure Centre at Tanrallt Farm, Abersoch offers adventure activities for all ages and abilities; coasteering, canyoning, climbing, abseiling, mountain and coastal walking.
- A fun day out for the whole family at this multi activity centre with ten pin bowling, karting, wakepark, quad bikes, fishing, archery, kids zone and much more. Eat in one of two restaurants or take a picnic. Stock up with excellent local produce in the farm shop before going home.
- Take an unforgetable ride on one of Wales' great little trains. These unique heritage train journeys from Porthmadog to the fascinating slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog rising 700' above sea level passing through forests, beside lakes and waterfalls, around horseshoe bends while clinging to the mountainside and tunneling through it.
- The Welsh Highlands Railway journey travels from Porthmadog through the glorious Snowdonia countryside to Caernarfon.
- The Ship Hotel at Aberdaron is an original Inn with Good Food Guide Recommended restaurant and bars.
- A white washed stone cottage at Aberdaron originally a communal kitchen for 13th C pilgrims going to Bardsey
- Crug Farm 18th C Walled Gardens are set in the grounds of a country house and has a nursery for rare plant species
- Shore Fishing at Llanbedrog yields bass, flounder, dog fish and bream caught on low tide. Remember to pack your favourite seafood recipe.
- Craft & Angling, Abersoch stocks fishing tackle, accessories, bait, permits and licences.
- An exhilerating experience for all the family enjoy the ride or even have a go at being a hovercraft pilot.
- There is much to enjoy near this Aberdaron coastal cottage, espeecially the National Trust coastland & headland at Uwych Mynydd. You wiill need a large scale Ordinance Surveyy map to find all the little known fascinating small coves & harbours along the north coast of the Lley Peninsula.
