Fuel oil central heating inclusive May - September, £30 per week outside these dates, start pack of coal and logs.

Grounds 2 acres of gardens bordered by a stream, part wild and somewhat overgrown, part mown, large paved patio area with table and chairs.

  • Nolton Haven's sheltered sandy cove is a 5 minute stroll away down a country lane from this family friendly, well furnished split level holiday home.
  • The open plan kitchen (recently refurbished to a high standard) leads into the living area with log burning stove, comfy sofas and enormous floor to ceiling windows which overlook extensive private lawns to the valley beyond.
  • Patio doors open onto private gardens, part wild and part mown, bordered by a stream - ideal for games, picnics and lazy days.

  • An architect (late Monty Minter) designed the house which featured in Homes & Gardens magazine in 1964.

Nolton Haven - Pembrokeshire
  • The Mariners Inn (bar meals) -400yds - overlooks the beach at Nolton Haven and there are lots of activities close by.
  • Ride through the waves on a horse from the stables at East Nolton, surf the waves at Newgale, boating at Little Haven, bathing and watersports at Broad Haven.

  • Broad Haven 3 miles away has an excellent minimarket and post office. More extensive shopping can be done in Haverfordwest - banks, post office, supermarkets, filling stations, chemist, doctor, vet and Farmers Markets every other Friday - excellent local produce

  • Inland discover the ancient Preseli Hills - heather coated moors dotted with `cromlechs' to roam - cyclists can explore the gentle rolling foothills along little wooded lanes and bridleways all within an easy drive of this Holiday Cottage close to beach at Nolton Haven.

St Davids Cathedral
  • Constructed between1180 - 1182 in transitional Norman style from fine grained purple Cambrian sandstone and has been the focus of pilgrimage and worship for hundreds of years - 3 pilgrimages to St Davids equalled 1 to Rome in the middle ages! The Cathedral is well worth a visit in these days - three shops to browse as well as an excellent Refectory serving delicious light lunches and snacks.
