4 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 6 plus travel cot. 1 twin on ground floor, 1 double with en-suite shower room (shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin) and 2 singles on 1st floor

About this cottage:
- Holiday cottage near Whitesands Beach. Hand-crafted shuttered windows, stone walls and a ‘ crog’ loft hideway make this a cosy and comfortable cottage for a holiday.
- Newly created from a stone barn, the cottage is on a working farm but totally independent of the main farmhouse, with its own driveway and garden.
- In the heart of Treleddyd Common, there are wonderful rural views across open farmland to St Davids and its Cathedral Tower from the cottage patio and from the lawn to Penberry and Carn Llidi hill tops near Whitesands.
- St Davids has a range of amenities including banks, post office, internet cafe, supermarket, filling station, chemist, doctor, vet and interesting independent shops.
- There are all kinds of activities for the family to enjoy - take a boat trip (fast or slow) around the ‘ Bird Islands’ and ‘ whale and dolphin spotting’ , try surfing, coasteering, sea kayaking, cycling (bikes for hire locally) a round or two of golf at the cliff top St Davids Links Golf Course, walk the Coastal Path or simply relax and enjoy Pembrokeshire’ s Blue Flag Beaches.
- A wide expanse of soft white sand curves north towards the rocky headland of St Davids. This lovely beach is popular with families, surfers and walkers.
- The stunning coastline is becoming known as ‘ The Butterfly Coast’ as well as being home to a wide variety of sea birds and in the seas there are dolphins, whales, seals and porpoise.St Davids, with its magnificent 12th century Cathedral, has art and craft galleries, gift shops, restaurants, cafes - do try The Bench with its home made ‘ Italian’ ice cream.
- There is lots to discover in this land ‘ for all seasons’ - pretty coves and harbours, ancient castles, iron age settlements, adventure parks, sleepy villages, museums and gardens all within any easy drive of this holiday cottage near Whitesands Beach.
- An iron age fortification dating back to 600BC. Buildings have been reconstructed on original foundations including a thatched roundhouse. Archaeological excavations are on going. There is lots to do and see for the whole family including special events.
- Britain's smallest city with a magnificent Cathedral at it's heart. A village really, full of interesting shops, galleries, crafts and a choice of places to eat and drink. Do take the opportunity to book a memorable boat trip out to the spectacular off lying bird islands.
- The Harbour Lights Gallery at Porthgain exhibits some of Pembrokeshire's best art work. Combine your visit with a drink and a bite in the old Sloop Inn or a special seafood meal at award winning The Shed Wine Bar / Bistro on the harbour side.
- Shore Fishing from the rocks and beaches around St Davids is arguably some of the best in Wales. Try your luck. Freshly caught fish cooked on the barbeque is delicious.
- For advice on river fishing anywhere in Pembrokeshire, Lloyd Evans secretary of the Pembrokeshire Angling Association is very knowledgable and willing to help you. Call him on 01437 767201
- Keen walkers with an interest in geology might enjoy this wild rocky 11 mile walk over some of the oldest rocks in Britain dating from the pre Cambrian period.
- Do make time to watch these delightful intelligent dogs at different stages of their training working with sheep and ducks. Demonstrations are held during the summer months.
- Enjoy delicious wholesome food prepared using local ingredients servred in the stunning Cathedral setting .
- The Bench is an Italian style cafe/bar/bistro with a delicious range of ice-creams and free WiFi access. Pop upstairs to the gallery where the work of Photographer Jo Sime is displayed alongside the work of other local artists and crafts people.
