2 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 4 plus travel cot, 1 double and 1 twin on 1st floor.

Bathroom elegant with white tongue and groove and blue slate coloured walls. Bath with shower over, toilet and washbasin on 1st floor.

Cloakroom on ground floor with washbasin and toilet.

Kitchen luxury fully fitted kitchen with handmade ash units, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, table and chairs seating 4, high chair.

Sitting Room inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove, large sofa, armchair & easy chair, tv, dvd/video with basic Sky Package, sea grass fitted matting, colourful rugs, pictures, bookcase & lamps.

Grounds small cottage garden opposite with balcony decking, garden furniture, barbecue. Care with toddlers please, not enclosed.

Parking for 2 cars at side of house under car port.

Fuel oil central heating inclusive May-September and starter pack of logs, £25 per week outside these dates. Extra logs can be purchased from the owner.

  • One of a pair of pretty wisteria and clematis clad cottages just above the lovely hamlet of Melin y Coed - ‘ Mill in the Woods’ - in the delightful Conwy Valley.
  • Stylish and spacious, the cottage has been recently fully renovated by the owner (a cabinet maker) who has lovingly and skillfully made all the doors, windows, kitchen units and even the beds in a light ash wood.
  • The warmly decorated sitting room with log burning stove and comfortable furnishings invites relaxation.
  • The pretty small cottage garden opposite the cottage has a galleried decking area - simply perfect for barbecues or relaxing and enjoying the tranquil setting.
  • Light and airy cottage bedrooms with fresh white decor and crisp white linen have elegant ash furnishings.
  • A stylish kitchen diner is fitted with painted white wooden cupboards complimented by ash table chairs, cupboards and shelves arranged with colourful china.
  • Lovely walks from the cottage through woodlands, valleys and fields strewn with wildflowers - bluebells and wild garlic in the spring, cow parsley and campion in the summer, and blackberries and rowan berries in the autumn.

  • Llanrwst popular market town

  • 1 mile away is Llanrwst, a small historic town with it’ s Inigo Jones (1636) bridge - and a pretty Virginia creeper covered cottage next to the bridge which serves scrumptious cream teas.The town has a range of amenities including bank, post office, library with internet facilities, supermarket, filling station, chemist, doctor, vet and interesting independent shops. A Farmer's Market is held on the third Saturday of each month - excellent local produce.

  • Take a drive along this spectacular mountain pass via the Upper Gate in the old town walls of Conwy. The road runs along the south side of Conwy Mountain then between the high stone walls of the Pen Sychnant Estate emeging to superb views. It then drops rapidly to the valley floor where it reaches the little village of Dwygyfylchi and the sea. Have your camera ready.
  • Penmaenmawr Beach & Llanfairfechan Beach

  • Sychnant Pass

  • One of Conwys best kept secrets and the northernmost pass in the Snowdonia National Park.. The road originally used by the mail coach runs via the Upper Gate in the town walls of Conwy in a westerly direction along the wide valley on the south side of Mynydd y Dref (Conwy Mountain) with its Neolithic Stone Circles and the Castell Caer Seion. Finally the Sychnant Pass runs between the high stone walls of Pen Sychnant Estate to emerge to superb views. There are many places to eat and drink on route.
