  • This is a magnificent location in which to relax and enjoy fabulous scenic views - a paradise for ornitholgists and lovers of birds and wild life.
  • The cottage is furnished with interesting pictures, sculptures and Conwy Pottery and a French door leads from the sitting room to the patio overlooking the estuary - an artist’ s easel, paper and art materials are provided for those guests who may feel inspired to capture this gorgeous scenery.
  • Characterful bedrooms with exposed beams, sloping ceilings, deep inset windows, latch doors and wooden floors have fresh white decor and colourful comfortable furnishings.
  • Conwy 5 miles away has a range of amenities including bank, post office, library with internet access, supermarkets, fuel stations, chemist, doctor, vet and interesting independent shops. Conwy market is held every Wednesday morning.

  • There are lots of walks nearby to enjoy. RSPB Conwy is a wildlife oasis on the edge Snowdonia. Bodnant Gardens (N.T.) is a delight throughout the year - in spring with azaleas and rhododendrons in full bloom and in early summer the spectacular laburnum arch.

  • The road leaves Conwy through the town's upper gate. It runs in a westerly direction along a wide valley on the south side of Mynydd y Dref (Conwy Mountain) with its Neolithic stone circles and Castell Caer Seion. Finally the road runs between the high stone walls of Pen Sychnant Estate opening out to a wonderful coastal vista.

  • Dwygfylchi is a coastal village at the foot of the Sychnant Pass with interesting architecture and wonderful views.. Enjoy the benefits of mountain and sea air. Caerlyr Hall Hotel serves lunch and dinner by arrangement. The Gladstone is a poular pub serving good traditional pub food.

  • A short drive away, has a long sweep of golden sands (safe bathing) and is full of Victorian charm. The pristine promenade is lined with elegant hotels and excellent shops including a large Marks & Spencers. Treat yourselves to lunch at the up-to-the minute Osborne Hotel recently featured on the BBC’ s Holiday programme.

  • Trefriw Woollen Mill is a 180 year old working mill and museum. Do vist and see the weaving and hydro electric turbines. Woollen and sheep skin products are on sale.
