3 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 6, plus cot. 1 Double, (king-size bed) 3 bedded room - all full size singles - ( 1 a 'shelf bed’ with curtain and light) and 1 single bedroom all on 1st floor.

Bedlinen & Towels (not for beach use) provided.

Shower Room on 1st floor with toilet, washbasin and large shower cubicle with power shower.

Cloakroom with washbasin on ground floor.

Kitchen/Diner fully fitted, electric cooker, halogen hob, microwave, fridge, food processor, dishwasher. Combination washing machine/dryer, use of owner’s freezer, highchair. Double doors to patio.

Sitting/Dining Room a most interesting large room with beamed ceiling, wood-burning stove, comfortable seating, elegant décor, HD flat screen 42'' tv with Sky+, video, Blue Ray dvd player & recorder.

Fuel electricity and logs inclusive May to September. Gas central heating £25 per week outside these dates.

Grounds magnificent garden, freedom of the smallholding but beware of ponds, ditches & electric fences. Watergarden (care must be taken with young children), barbecue.

Pembrokeshire Cottage in the Gwaun Valley near Newport seaside village - Pet Dogs Welcome

Pretty, peaceful cottage, furnished, decorated and maintained to a high standard with a magnificent garden and water garden.

Low beamed ceilings, generous sofas, wood burnning stove and unusual shaped windows enhance the cottage atmosphere of the elegant sitting room.

High open beamed ceilings and light decor create restful bedrooms.

The lovely spacious fitted kitchen opens out onto a terrace ideal for al fresco dining.

In the mystical Gwaun Valley this is a perfect place to relax - take a woodland walk to the Gwaun waterfalls through ancient woods, alive with birdsong and carpeted with bluebells in early May.

Pembrokeshire Coast

This Pembrokeshire cottage is just 3 miles away from glorious unspoilt coastline with its safe sandy beaches.

Attached property, but completely independent. The owner's are a mine of local information and are pleased to help if required - baby sitting is always available.

Cwm yr Eglwys, Ceibwr Bay & Poppit Sands

Cwm yr Eglwys has a pretty pebbly cove and a storm ruined church teetering on the tide line. Ceibwr Bay is a delightful beach with rock pools and caves to explore and a stream to splash about in. The vast soft white sands backed by dunes of Poppit are perfect for family fun and a great place to walk being located at the beginning (or end) of the 180 mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

Aberporth, Patch & Gwbert

There is a delightful choice of beaches within easy reach of Pwll y Broga. South west facing location makes it perfect for sun worshippers, watersports enthusiasts, fisherfolk and family fun.Two lovely Blue Flag awarded golden sandy beaches whose waters are frequented by bottle nose dolphins, harbour porpoises and seals.

Pembrokeshire Candle Maker

In a hollow at the entrance to the Gwaun Valley is the Pembrokeshire Candle Centre - watch candles being hand-made - lots of different kinds to buy.

Newport & Nevern Estuary near Pembrokeshire cottage

Newport has a variety of small shops, restaurants and pubs serving excellent food, minimarket, bank, chemist, post office, filling station and doctors surgery.

Do read one (or more) of the 6 novels in the Angel Mountain Saga written by local author Brian John - lots of fascinating detail about the area.

Across the Nevern Estuary from Newport is the spectacular links golf course.

Walking the Preseli Hills & Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

Wonderful walking country, either along woodland trails through the Valley, across ancient tracks over Preseli Hills or along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, all within easy reach of this rural Pembrokeshire cottage.

Preseli Mohair Centre

Preseli Mohair Centre in Mynachlog-ddu produces beautiful garments of yarn from home produced Angora goats. Viv Lockton has a small show room where a variety of stock is exhibited for sale including socks, gloves, blankets, Angora skin rugs and cushions.

Pwllgwaelod

This delightful cove is nestled along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Call in at the Old Sailors Inn for a drink and good food served on the lawn overlooking the sea or in the little dining room (booking essential) Phone 01348 811 491.

Lazy Sunday Market Rhos y Gilwen & Bar Five Fishguard

Lazy Sunday Market at Rhos y Gilwen is a venue for butchers, bakers, candlestick makers and many other cottage industries.

Miles Pepper's West Wales Arts Centre & Cafe Celf, Fishguard

When in Fishguard do drop in and browse the contemporary and applied art exhibits and quality crafts at the excellent centre run by Miles Pepper. Enjoy some refreshments in Cafe Celf and look out for one of the occasional musical recitals held here.

The Oak Hall - Rhos y Gilwen

A concert hall and mansion in its own beautiful gardens with a new music and arts centre. The venue is constructed of green oak in keeping with centuries old traditions of craftsmanship. Designed with acoustic music in mind with its own Seinway concert grand.
