1 Bedroom with king size bed & 1 bedroom with bunk beds – a door from each bedroom opens into a bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, toilet & washbasin). Hairdryer. 1 twin with en-suite shower room, (shower cubicle, washbasin & toilet). All on 1st floor.
Bedlinen and towels provided
Sitting Room on ground floor (3 steps up) with luxury leather furnishings,1 x 3 seater sofa, 2 armchairs, pouffe, electric woodburner effect fire, Sky Freeview tv (bring your own card if you have the full Sky package). French doors onto patio.
Kitchen/Diner/Lounge open plan with large well equipped integrated luxury kitchen, microwave, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, dining table, antique furniture, cd/radio. Highchair on request.

- Overlooking beautiful rolling countryside and close to the Snowdonia National Park, Lake Vyrnwy and Welshpool, this is a spacious, luxuriously comfortable barn conversion with magnificent views from its elevated position.
- One of a pair of barns, Ysgubor has its own private terrace and patio from where you can enjoy your breakfast, evening meal or drinks whilst soaking up the stunning surroundings.
- Its tranquil rural setting makes it the perfect base in which to relax in comfort, whilst enjoying the many attractions Mid Wales has to offer.
- Situated close to the owner’s farmhouse (not a working farm) there is privacy, peace and quiet aplenty - a private drive to the adjoining property sweeps in front of the barn.
- Whether you are looking for adventurous outdoor activities, or a time to pamper yourself surrounded by beautiful countryside this is a great place to be!
- Within easy driving distance there is a vast choice of activities including white water rafting, fishing, excellent walking, quad-biking, horse riding, fishing and golf.
- Around 90 species of birds are known to be breeding in the reserve surrounding this beautiful lake, along with 6 species of bat, butterflies and dragonflies.
- Fed by 31 streams, waterfalls and rivers Lake Vyrnwy can be seen from space on
- a clear
- day and provides the water used in the manufacturing of Bombay Saphire Gin!
- The old bustling market town of Welshpool has a long, colourful past and a Heritage Trail guides you around interesting historical features and buildings. There is a unique blend of shops to browse and lots of lovely local produce for sale.
- Powis Castle is within walking distance of the town and has perhaps the best preserved castle and garden in Wales.
- This is an area steeped in romantic history with border castles overlooking the glorious countryside and rolling green hills of Montgomeryshire - a wonderful unspoilt area to explore.
- Walk to the top of Wales' highest waterfall in the ~Berwyn Mountains (http://www.pistyllrhaeadr.co.uk/walks.html)~ reached by a public foot path which takes about 20 minutes. Stout shoes advisable. Pistyll Rhaeadr Is open to the public throughout the year and there is no charge for access to the falls.
- The train follows steep gradients and tight curves beginning at Welshpool . Unique balconies offer delightful countryside views. Deer and hawks may be spotted on route along the river Banwy into Llanfair . There is a shop and tea room.
- Ride in the carriage or try driving yourself. Have a go sessions at one of the fastest growing sports.
- Visit this renovated old saw mill for
- gifts, crafts, cycle hire and coffee shop.
- Walk and spot birds through the heart of the forest, beside the river, over board walks and up steep forest slopes. The tracks and trails are ideal for cycling. The forest is home to many animals, birds and insects. The river is spawning ground for salmon and home to most British species of fresh water river fish.
