4 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 7, 1 double, 1 single on the ground floor, 1 double, 1 twin with washbasin on 1st floor.

Bathroom on 1st floor with full suite.

Bathroom with walk-in shower, full suite on ground floor.

Cloakroom with toilet and washbasin on ground floor.

Kitchen/Diner country style, fully fitted with electric cooker, microwave, larder fridge, dishwasher.

Dining suite to seat 8. tv.

Utility Room automatic washing machine and freezer

Sitting Room exposed beams, log burning stove, 3 piece suite, Sky tv.

Grounds medium sized unenclosed lawned garden with steps leading to a small stream (care with toddlers please), patio, garden furniture and barbecue.

Hot tub for use entirely at your own risk.

Fuel oil fired central heating and logs inclusive May to September, £25 per week outside these dates.

  • In a very tranquil setting with breathtaking views over the rolling countryside of the Rhiew Valley.
  • Enjoy nature at its best in this beautiful part of Mid Wales, a naturalists and conservationists dream with an abundance of wildlife.
  • The caring owners who also own Copper Lodge Ref 795 (200 yds away), are nature enthusiasts and farm the surrounding land -
  • guests are welcome to walk through their fields, woodlands and along the river valley.

  • Exposed beams, imposing quarry tiled floor, log burning stove and comfy leather sofas make the sitting room a lovely place in which to relax.
  • Elegant wooden kitchen cupboards are complimented by a generous farmhouse kitchen and 8 chairs overlooking the garden and rolling pastures beyond.
  • Two of the four pretty bedrooms make the most of the lovely crog loft with exposed beams and oak end windows.

  • Mid Wales Clay Pigeon Shoot, golf, Twilight Golf £8 after 3.30pm at Welshpool Golf Club, horse riding, trout and coarse fishing are all available locally and some of the many attractions within a short drive include Dolforwyn Castle, Powis Castle and Gardens and Welshpool.
  • Llanfair Light Railway, Montgomery & Brecon Canal

  • Llanfair Light Railway which weaves its way through the Banwy Valley and leisurely boat trips along the Montgomery Canal.
  • Montgomery, one of the most attractive towns in Wales with cobbled streets and beautifully preserved Georgian buildings, sits below its ruined 13th century castle - spectacular views of the Severn Valley nearby.
  • Welshpool Town Hall & Andrew Logan Museum

  • The most prominent building in the town with its clock tower which is hand wound each day. Built around 1810 it contains an old court room, council chambers and an assembley room. The ground floor houses the market and old corn exchange. The market still operates on Mondays and Saturdays and a Farmers Market on the 1st Friday of each month.
  • Do make time to see the collection of work by one of Britain's principal sculptural artists Andrew Logan It is housed in the Andrew Logan Museum at Berriew.
  • Ustrike Ten Pin Bowling, Newtown

  • Montgomery Castle is an impressive stone enclosure fortress of five successive wards along a narrow ridge. Do remember your camera or sketch book.
