About this cottage:
- A lovingly renovated 19th century solid, roomy cottage, once home to the local Baptist Minister, in the sleepy hamlet of Martletwy.
- The cottage has a spacious master ensuite bedroom, comfortably furnished sitting room with a coal effect electric fire, Freeview tv.
- There is a separate, large dining room and a pretty, enclosed secluded rear garden on several levels.
- Pembroke Dock and Pembroke are both about 11 miles away. There are several large supermarkets in Pembroke Dock. Pembroke town has an excellent delicatessen and some individual shops as well as banks and a post office.
- Cwm Deri Vineyard and Restaurant (owned and run by the owners of Alpha Cottage) is a short stroll away – and as well as a generous ‘Welcome Hamper’ guests will receive a 10% discount on restaurant meals and a 5% discount on all shop purchases!
- ‘The Secret Waterway’, the hidden treasure of the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park and paradise for walkers, birdwatchers and naturalists, is short drive away - stunning natural beauty with a network of woodland walks and paths around tidal inlets - the long distance Daugleddau Trail reveals hidden delights from ruined castles to ancient Minwear Woods.
- A family friendly level path which once carried the Great Western Railway to its terminus at Neyland now a thriving marina. Look out for otters, feed the swans and see how many birds you can identify on route. The path goes 14 miles to Haverfordwest without seeing a vehicle.
- South Pembrokeshire’s golden beaches – Broad Haven South, Freshwater West, beautiful Barafundle and Manorbier - are all within an easy drive.
- Narberth (8m) is a small bustling town with a wide range of individual shops to browse in – wonderful hassle-free Christmas shopping - and picturesque Tenby.
- Oakwood Leisure Park, Folly Farm Adventure Park, Picton Castle Woodland Gardens, romantic Carew Castle with its working Tidal Mill and the new Bluestone Aqua Park, Heatherton Sporting park and Dinosaur Park.

- Walk from Stackpole Quay car park along the coastal path to fabulous Barafundle Beach backed by sand dunes andf flanked by sea cliffs once voted one of UK's top ten beaches.
- This beautiful little castle is open 5 days a week for afternnon guided tours. The large grounds consisting of over 40 acres of woodland and walled gardens make an ideal location for a picnic. There is a restaurant, gallery and shop in the courtyard.
- Claudia Myatt, artist, illustrator and author welcomes visitors to her studio in Llawhaden. Most of her work has a nautical theme reflecting her love of sailing and the sea.
