• Pembroke Dock and Pembroke are both about 11 miles away. There are several large supermarkets in Pembroke Dock. Pembroke town has an excellent delicatessen and some individual shops as well as banks and a post office.

• A family friendly level path which once carried the Great Western Railway to its terminus at Neyland now a thriving marina. Look out for otters, feed the swans and see how many birds you can identify on route. The path goes 14 miles to Haverfordwest without seeing a vehicle.
