About this cottage:

Criccieth cottage
  • Pretty little Bwthyn Stabal (Stable Cottage) is tucked away at the side of a late 18th Century Grade II listed manor house in the heart of Criccieth.
  • Surrounded by protected woodlands it is a lovely peaceful location with a walled garden in which to enjoy leisurely al fresco meals and an orchard shared with its ‘sister’ ~Bwthyn yr Ardd  (1198)~.
  • Pretty interiors, a snug little sitting room with a Victorian fireplace, cream kitchen and attractive bedrooms, 2 with Victorian fireplaces, all make this a perfect hideaway - look out for a 600 year old yew tree in the grounds along with oak, walnut and Douglas Firs.

Criccieth
  • Walk into the town which is overlooked by its distinctive ruined Castle on the hillside which separates the 2 Blue Flag beaches.
  • Lots of locally owned shops - deli/coffee shop, butchers and fishmongers - good recommended restaurants are ‘Poachers and ‘Royal China’ restaurants.

Coastal Path
  • Join the Coastal Path for walks with spectacular views across the bay to Harlech - wonderful bird and marine life.

Portmeirion
  • This is the picturesque Italian folly based on Portofino - beautiful views, a great restaurant and unique pottery.

Beddgelert
  • There are riverside walks and a scrumptious ice cream shop to enjoy and whilst on the way and check out the RSPB Osprey Centre on the Glaslyn River.
  • Lots to see and enjoy when staying in this pretty little Criccieth cottage.
