Grounds enclosed medium size rear garden with lawn, patio, BBQ and garden furniture. Wooden bench on front raised terrace - please take care with small children - there is a steep unprotected drop from here onto a concrete road.

Ample parking.

Coastal farm holiday cottage on the Lleyn Peninsula

A lovingly newly renovated and smartly furnished cottage set on a delightful farm near the tip of the glorious Lleyn Peninsula.

The open plan kitchen/dining and living area is cosy and comfortable with a large wood burning stove.

There is a double bedroom (with futon bed for a child if required) and 2 twin bedrooms (one of which has a futon bed for a child if required).

The rear enclosed garden and patio is a sun trap and perfect for relaxing on and enjoying al fresco meals.

Feed the chickens, help pick your own eggs or new potatoes and the farmer feed the calves – not forgetting Megan the pig!

A farming experience for children and adults alike to take pleasure in, always accompanied by Kel the faithful sheepdog.

Aberdaron & Beach

Aberdaron 2 miles away is a small white washed village on the edge of the water – a lovely beach, Spar shop, bakery, newsagents, off licence, beach shop, 2 cafes, 1 fish & chip shop and 2 hotels.excellent local shops and two hotels serving good food – Ty Newydd has a balcony for al fresco eating overlooking the beach with views across to 2 tiny islands known as ‘The Islands of the Gulls’.

Lleyn Peninsula Coastal Path

The Lleyn Coastal Path, which follows in the footsteps of pilgrims on their journey to Bardsey Island, is 20 metres away - spectacular views of Bardsey Island and along the Peninsula to Snowdonia.

Whistling Sands & Welsh Castles near coastal farm holiday cottage

Whistling Sands is nearby, a beautiful cove of light golden sands which really do whistle and lovely beaches can be found all along the rugged coastline.

Four magnificent castles are a short drive away each with its own story to tell, Harlech,Criccieth, Caernarfon and Beaumaris.

Porth Meudwy

Fishing trips and boat trips out to Bardsey Island leave from nearby Porth Meudwy. Bardsey Island is steeped in history and teeming with wild life - a pleasure not to be missed.

National Slate Museum, Llanberis

Do visit the National Slate Museum at Llanberis which is not so much a museum as a pocket of history. A day full of enjoyment in a dramatically beautiful landscape on the shores of Lake Padarn.

Twnti Seafood Restaurant, Rhyd y Clafdy

Do indulge yourselves and book a table at Twnti Seafood Restaurant, Rhyd y Clafdy in the centre of the Lleyn Peninsula. This successful 18 year old business specialises in fresh local seafood and seasonal produce.

Fun for all the family. Throw a pot or paint a plate. There is also a large selection of gifts to browse.

Abersoch

The popular seaside village 8 miles away has lovely beaches, interesting shops, bank, chemist, Spar supermarket, cafe, restaurants, internationally recognised sailing waters and two famous annual festivals - Wakestock wakeboarding & music as well as the Abersoch Jazz Festival.

Abersoch Sailing School

A range of RYA sailing and powerboat lessons for adults and children. A wide variety of dinghies, day cruisers and kayaks are available for hire.

Angelinas Restaurant, Abersoch

A contemporary Italian menu including pizzas, pastas, fresh local meat and seafood dishes made with fresh local produce and a delicious selection of freshly made desserts.

Morfa Nefyn, Nefyn & Nefyn & District Golf Club

Popular neighbouring coastal village and town. Morfa Nefyn village has a pleasant beach of sand & shale and a few shops. Nefyn nearby has a more comprehensive range of amenities and Nefyn Golf Club which enjoys a unique clifftop location surrounded by sea on three sides. Such fabulous views an added distraction

Ffestiniog Railway, Porthmadog

Take a ride aboard one of Wales' great little railways from Porthmadog to the fascinating slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog 700' above sea level passing pastures, forests, lakes and waterfalls and round horseshoe bends while clinging to the mountainside or tunneling through it.

Welsh Highland Railway

Enjoy a 25 mile journey from beneath magnificent Caernarfon Castle through spectacular Snowdonia landscapes to Porthmadog.

Glasfryn Parc, Y Ffor

A wonderful day out for the whole family. This multi activity centre has much to offer. Choose from 10 pin bowling, fishing, archery, quad bikes, wakeboarding, kids zone and much more. Eat in one of two restaurants and stock up on delicious local produce in the farm shop.
