1 double, 1 twin both on 1st floor. Please note there are wide gaps between the rails of the balustrade on the open plan stairs and landing - take care with toddlers!

Bedlinen provided.

Bathroom on 1st floor full suite with power shower over bath.

Kitchen built-in electric oven with ceramic hob, microwave, built-in fridge with frozen food compartment, built-in dishwasher and washing machine, gate-leg table with 4 chairs. Tumble dryer in garage.

Lounge/Diner comfortably furnished with woodburning stove in inglenook, Freeview digitalt/dvd, well stocked bookcase, music centre with records, tapes/cds. Dining suite seating 4, high chair. Views to garden and fields.

Solva holiday cottage near beaches - dog friendly

Attractive south facing Solva cottage, one of a pair, in a rural setting at the edge of the hamlet of Kingheriot

Behind this Solva holiday cottage is common ground where the villagers used to collect their water, 'Maes y Ffynnon' means `Well Field'.

The charming lounge dining room has a feature stone wall with inglenook, huge solid wood mantle and a wood burning stove.

Pretty shaped cottage bedrooms with pastel decor and traditional Welsh blankets invite rest and relaxation.

This Solva holiday cottage has pasture land outside the front windows and a country garden to the side with two small ponds netted for safety.

Summer short breaks are available at Maes y Ffynon please phone for price and availability.

Solva and Middle Mill (woollen mill)

Solva is a pretty fiord-like fishing village with a small safe beach, harbour, pubs, restaurants, clothes and craft shops. The excellent village store, post office and off licence, Bayview Stores, sells groceries, papers, angling supplies and offers a delivery service within the Solva area. Middle Mill is a short stroll away with a working woollen mill, most hospitable proprietors and cafe.

Easily accessible to all the St Davids Peninsula coast path with its glorious scenery, safe sandy beaches and flower filled country lanes

Boat Trips to Bird Islands

Boat trips leave from St Justinians and Whitesands Bay to visit the stunning off shore islands of Skomer Skolkholm and Ramsey teeming with seabirds. Remember your cameras and binoculars. Tickets can bought in St Davids.

The 'Sloop Inn' at Porthgain is one of the most popular eateries a short distance from this Solva holiday cottage. The pretty fishing village of Porthgain has an interesting history and is home to several galleries as well as being on the fabulous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

A tiny coastal village with a sandy beach, a 200 year old chapel clinging to the cliff, a village pub serving food and the East Nolton Riding Stables who will take you on a thrilling gallop across the beach or trekking in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside.

Priskilly Forest Golf Club

Priskilly Forest Golf Club in Castlemorris has a challenging 9 hole course in beautiful parkland with panoramic views. After your game do drive on to Letterston and try a meal at the award winning licensed, fish & chip restaurant 'Something's Cooking'.

A permanent exhibition of Graham Sutherland's work is on show at Oriel y Parc in St Davids. Sutherland's work was greatly influenced by the Pembrokeshire landscape which he loved.
