2 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 4. 1 double (5’ bed) with porthole window and panoramic sea views and 1 twin with countryside views.

Bedlinen & Towels provided at £3 per person

Bathroom luxury bathroom with free-standing bath, double shower cubicle, toilet, washbasin. All on 1st floor.

Kitchen/Dining/Sitting Room with beamed ceiling, slate floor, ‘L’shaped open plan with luxury oak kitchen units, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, table and chairs seating 4. 2 sofas and armchair, log burning stove, flat screen tv/dvd, cd/radio. Highchair on request. Washer/Dryer in understairs cupboard.

Fuel oil central heating inclusive May – September £20 per week outside these dates. Starter pack of logs for stove October - April

Holiday cottage to rent near Nolton Haven and Newgale

Nolton Haven with its pretty sheltered cove and the 2 miles of golden sands at Newgale are both a short drive away from this newly renovated home.

Surrounded by NT farmland (part of the recently aquired Southwood Estate) and within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Trefrane Lodge is next door to, but completely separate from Trefrane House, Ref 1119 with its own separate entrance, parking and gardens and the whole is set in 9 acres of land with panoramic views to the sea in the distance.

Furnished and decorated with great attention to detail – fabulous locally made curtains, soft furnishings, carefully chosen light fittings, including a resin ‘antler’ chandelier and coloured glass door knobs.

Trefrane was included in the first list of coal mines in 1854 - Queen Victoria’s favourite anthracite was mined here but there are no visible signs of this today – the coal seam stretched beneath the sea and it is said that the miners could hear the waves crashing above them as they worked.

Solva Waterside Harbour Village and Haverfordwest County Town

6 miles away Solva has an excellent village store and post office selling groceries, papers and alcohol. Haverfordwest 10 miles away has banks, post office, library with internet, supermarkets, filling stations, chemist, doctor, vet and interesting independent shops. A farmer's market is held every other Friday beside the river - fresh local produce.

Newgale & the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

Newgale with its 2 miles of golden sands, beloved by surfers and kite surfers - wet suits and boards can be hired - is 5 minute drive – the Coastal Path can be joined here.

Nolton Haven & Druidstone Hotel, Druidston Beach and Galloping through the surf

Nolton Haven, in the opposite direction, is a pretty cove, popular with families.

The spectacular beach at Druidston, overlooked by the Druidstone Inn, is a favourite with horse riders – hire a horse at nearby Nolton Haven Stables and gallop through the waves!

St Davids & Cathedral within easy reach of holiday cottage to rent near Nolton Haven

The busy village city of St Davids with its magnificent medieval Cathedral is a short drive away. Visit the Cathedral where world renowned Music Festivals are held, explore the ruined Bishops Palace, browse the small shops and art galleries and arrange a unforgettable boat trip to the famous bird islands while you are there.

Wolfs Castle Country Inn

Wolfs Castle Country Inn has an AA Rosette for good food. An a la carte menu is served all day, lunch, evening and afternoon tea. Do book to avoid disappointment.

Haverfordwest Golf Club

The course set on the edge of the National Park with magnificent views, offers a real challenge to golfers of all abilities. There is a Pro shop, club house, golfers bar and restaurant serving home cooked cuisine in a traditional atmosphere.
