The start of the prestigious cycling event Tour of Pembrokeshire starts at Crug Glas Country House near Britain's smallest city, St Davids.On Saturday 20th May there will be three rides; The Fred Rees Skoda 60, The Mavic 80 and the Paul Ties 130. On Sunday 21st there will be The Crug Glas 40. The routes encompass up to 14,000 feet of climbing Pembrokeshire's wild and rugged hills with breathtaking coastal vistas and thrilling downhill runs at every turn. The whole community gets behind the occasion giving it a unique atmosphere. Technical support, friendly advice and feeding stations are in plentiful supply. Enthusiastic participants come from all over the country including high profile celebrity cyclists such as Olympic Gold Medalist Chris Boardman.
