Customer Reviews

Had an amazing week here at the Lodge. Wonderful weather all week and some days the peace of the gardens as well as their beauty made it impossible to leave them. The cottage itself is lovely and cosy though little used this week as we have cooked, eaten, read and played outside. Goes high on our list of places to stay for an Anglesey break.

Sally, Pete & Tess the dog

Great week, very lucky with the weather. Our cocker spaniel loved the garden, apples and rabbits -heaven. Can recommend a bike ride to Penmon with great views of Puffin Island and a fab little café. Also discovered a great little pub in Llandonna which served pub food with friendly service. The golf at Henllys couldn't be better - what a view down the 8th! Don't miss the ice creams at the Red Boat in Beaumaris. Newborough Forest and beach are incredible.

The Nicholson Family

We have had a lovely holiday this April and the weather has been superb with the sun shining 6 out of 7 days. The cottage is very welcoming and well equipped and the gardens a joy. Thank you, we hope to be able to come again.

Liz & Peter

We have had a very relaxing and restful holiday in perfect surroundings having seen a great deal more of the Lodge than the locality. Why? The weather which has been very unkind. We thoroughly recommend the Lodge as a holiday home and wish we could take the grounds home with us.

Farrow Family

Lovely house set in what must be one of the most scenic locations on Ynys Mon. Lovely garden and view of Princes Course. There are plenty of walks (see the book Walks in Anglesey) and the first one in the book passes the house! There are a few N.T. places to visit and it may be better to join as a member.

Mr & Mrs Stone

Really enjoyed our week here. This is a great cottage. We especially enjoyed having our evening meals in the conservatory with the wonderful views over the golf course and the mountains. The dogs really enjoyed the gardens and the great beach walks around the island. Beaumaris Castle was a great visit and we recommend the Neptune Restaurant for fish and chips in the village.

The Lane Family

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful Lodge and enjoyed the garden, it was all so relaxing. The Lodge was spotlessly clean and tidy. The dogs and us really enjoyed our stay and met some lovely people around the area.

Jim, Carol, Cody and Cindy

Enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is interesting with different themes in each room. The mountains across the Straits are ever changing. The garden is a joy and as keen gardeners we've dabbled a bit. Our dog Barney is in dog heaven as he's found enough sticks to keep a fire going for a week. No waste food the birds devour everything. The local shop is a blessing with very friendly staff. Thank you Betty for the way you keep it perfect.
