All on ground floor overlooking the Lake.

3 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 5, 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single.

Bedlinen provided.

Kitchen - fully fitted, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, table and two chairs.

Shower Room plus 2 separate toilets. Washing machine and tumble dryer.

Store/Dog Room with toilet.

Lounge/Diner comfortable seating for six, Satellite tv/video/DVD. Dining suite to seat 6

Fuel inclusive May to September £30 per week outside these dates .

Grounds directly alongside the lake (unsuitable for young children). Freedom to explore lake surrounds and woodlands. Large lawned area. Patio with picnic bench.

  • This private 3 acre lake offers excellent fly fishing (catch and release) and is well stocked with naturally breeding brown and rainbow trout.
  • Site of Special Scientific Interest with resident otter

  • Set in a 'nature lovers paradise', the lakeside cottage is surrounded by 13 acres of mature deciduous woodland in the form of dingles with streams and waterfalls - designated a 'Site of Special Scientific Interest' a huge diversity of flowering plant species has been recorded. Will you be lucky enough to see our resident otter.
  • Bird watchers will delight in the many species of woodland and aquatic birds in the area over 75 species to date.. Enjoy the daily flights of our resident white doves as they glide across the lake.
  • Magnificent night skies boasting beautiful clear views of the cosmos.
  • Newtown 3 miles away has a range of amenities including banks, post office, library with internet access, supermarkets, chemist, doctors, traditional butchers shop and filling station.

  • Do visit The Old Market Hall and Exhibition in Llanidloes the only surviving timber framed market hall in Wales built in the early 1600's. While in town the magpies in your party might enjoy browsing the antiques and collectables at Arcadia Antiques or you could drop in at the Phoenix Gallery to see original works of art by sculptor / artist Sue Thornton mostly of birds, animals and atmospheric landscapes.
  • Walking The Crychan, Halfway Forest & Hafren Cycle Centre

  • Set off from Kerry between Newtown and Sarn. There are miles of waymarked trails through tranquil grassy gorges, along drovers routes and past waterfalls with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
