Accommodation Details:
2 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 3 plus travel cot on request. 1 single with en-suite shower room on ground floor, 1 double with en-suite bathroom on 1st floor.
Bedlinen & towels provided (Not beach towels)
Kitchen cottage style kitchen with wooden units, Welsh dresser, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, table and chairs to seat 4. Highchair on request. Patio doors to front.
Utility Room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Separate toilet. Door to rear.
Sitting Room with 2 seater sofa, 3 armchairs, coal effect oil stove, tv/dvd, radio, stairs to 1st floor.
Fuel underfloor heating throughout ground floor, inclusive May – September, £20 per week outside these dates.
Grounds rear decked area with garden furniture and small enclosed lawn. Ample storage for surf boards, bikes, jet skis etc.
Parking for 2 cars by cottage.
Welcome FREE 1 dog max – must be kept under control at all times

About this cottage:
- In a small private family owned hamlet, a cul de sac just 1/2 mile from Burton and Burton Ferry above the Haven and just minutes by car from the Cleddau Bridge which links north and south Pembrokeshire.
- A peaceful, tranquil location at the end of a ‘no through road’, this is a lovingly renovated cottage with Pembrokeshire slate floors (underfloor heating) Pembrokeshire oak beams and doors.
- This white-washed cottage is one of a pair, in the tiny private hamlet of Cudlic in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
- Exposed beams, open fireplace, slate floors, some revealed stonework and comfortable furnishings are complemented by sunny coloured decor. The charming dining area has a handsome Welsh dresser filled with blue & white china, a pine table and chairs for 4 beside floor to ceiling windows.
- A stylish kitchen area has been fitted with solid pine cupboards and butler sink enhancing the country cottage ambience of this lovely holiday home.
- Neyland 4 miles away has 2 supermarkets, one with a post office and cash dispensing facilities, and the other with a chemist, traditional family run butchers shop, a filling station with an ATM. Also a library with internet facilities, a chandlery on the marina and an excellent family-run cafe.
- A water bus runs up and down the Cleddau river picking up and dropping off passengers on route. From Lawrenny it calls at Burton, Hobbs Point (Pembroke Dock), Neyland, Hazelbeach, Milford Mackeral Stage, Angle, Dale and back. The service runs 2 vessels Fri, Sat, Sun, June, July, Aug and Sept. - On the north western side of the River Cleddau this is wonderful gentle walking country criss-crossed by footpaths, trails and bridleways running though woodland alive with birdsong – blue tits and great tits in the winter and wood warblers and chiffchaff in the summer.
- The Beggars Reach Hotel, (excellent food and wine) is a short walk (600 yds) and the riverside village of Burton with the ‘Jolly Sailor’ inn is just 2 miles away.
- Neyland Marina has an excellent restaurant The Bar and the popular Brunel Café as well as a ships chandlers. Boat trips operate from here during the summer months either inland up the ‘Secret Waterway’ or out to sea to enjoy spectacular marine and bird life.
- Pembroke is a short drive away and has a wonderfully preserved medieval castle, picturesque mill pond with swans, shops, restaurants, inns and medieval alleyways to explore.
- Freshwater East, Tenby, Manorbier and all the glorious coast of South Pembrokeshire is within an easy drive of this holiday cottage in Pembrokeshire.
- A vibrant not for profit community theatre in Milford Haven recently having undergone a £5.4 million refurbishment and expansion. It includes a main auditorium, cinema, Cafe Torch, studio theatre, theatre bar & bistro and Oriel Joanna Field Gallery.
- Enjoy a round of golf at the 'Dawn til Dusk' Golf Club in the village of Rosemarket. This friendly club promotes a 'golf for all' policy. There are 12 covered floodlit bays and a 9 hole course. Drop in at The Huntsman village pub for a drink and a bite to eat on the way home.
- A pretty waterside village at the mouth of the Cleddau river popular for walking and watersports. Pembrokeshire Islands Boat Trips leave from here and from nearby Martins Haven to visit the bird island of Skomer.
- There are several lovely beaches to choose from around St Brides Bay including Little Haven, Nolton, Druidston, Broad Haven and Newgale.
- Stroll along the fashionable marina shops, cafes and bars beside the moored boats. Stock up in the Quayside Deli and enjoy coffee and delicious cakes while you are there.
- The famous village city is well worth the hours drive. Visit the magnificent 12th C Cathedral at its heart, children will love the ruined Bishop's Palace next door, browse the intimate shops and galleries, choose from a variety of places to eat and drink and book an unforgetable boat trip out to the off lying bird islands.
