- Aberaeron’s South Beach is fine for bathing, kayaking and windsurfing and the North Beach is great for rock pooling and dog walking throughout the year.
- This is a bustling town and a delight at any time of the year with its elegant painted terraced Georgian town houses, charming shops, craft/art galleries, restaurants, cafes and pubs.
- Take a stroll around the harbour on Quay Parade, watch children fishing for crabs, try a delicious honey ice cream from the Hive on the Quay, sip a chilled drink at the renowned Harbourmaster Hotel and enjoy the spectacular sunsets over Cardigan Bay.
- Besides Aberaeron's own 2 beaches within a short drive you can also visit the beaches at Llangrannog, Newquay, Cwm Tydu, Tresaith, Penbryn, Aberporth, Gwbert on Sea and Poppit sands.
- Boat trips sail from the harbour to explore Cardigan Bay’s Marine Heritage Coast - spot dolphins and porpoise frolicking in the sparkling waters and view the magnificent shoreline from a different perspective.
- A cycling or walking trip along the old railway track takes you to the National Trust mansion and walled garden at Llanerchaeron – a truly fascinating glimpse into life gone by.
- Aberaeron hosts lots of local events throughout the year including a Seafood Festival in July and in August a Regatta, Carnival and a Festival of Welsh ponies and cobs so there is always plenty to enjoy when holidaying in this Aberaeron holiday home.
- Housed in Lampeter's old town hall the largest collection and stock of exceptional Welsh antique quilts and blankets anywhere in the world was opened by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall in July 2010. Well worth a visit.
- Browse the beautiful jewellery, dishes and sculptures in glass for a unique memento of your visit to Wales.
- Visit this picturesque village where the river runs through and salmon leap. Look at Welsh coracles and others from all over the world in the Natinal Coracle Centre and enjoy riverside walks.
- Cruise the spectacular Ceredigion Heritage Coast to spot dolphins, porpoise, seals, seabirds and other marine wildlife. Remember your camera and binoculas.
- Learn about local wildlife, cultural and rural heritage of the area and see magnificent Red Kites being fed twice daily. Once seen never forgotten.
- Hire a bicycle and explore the local area. There is a flat three mile route across Cors Caron Nature Reserve a perfect trip out for the whole family.
- A wonderful annual event celebrating Welsh ponies and cobs. Join in the throng at Aberaeron's Square Field to watch demonstrations and exhibitions culminating in the spectacular 'running of the stallions'. This is a spectacular day out for non equestrian as well as equestrians. Be sure to go if you are in the area. It is usually held in August. - Enjoy a round of golf on this picturesque 9 hole golf course teeming with wild life. Red kites, buzzards, squirrels, rabbits and more abound. The club house serves food and drink overlooking one of three beautiful lakes.
- Pay once and ride all day through the scenic Teifi Valley on this nostalgic narrow gauge railway. Take the opportunity to walk to the waterfalls on route then signal the driver when you are ready to reboard the train.
- There is much for the whole family to enjoy near Aberaeron town house.
