• The Preseli Hills inland offer gentle hill walking with spectacular views or why not try pony trekking along newly opened trails.

• This delightful little cove is on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and provides a perfect watering hole in the Old Sailors Inn. The pub serves good food on the lawn overlooking the sea or in the small dining room (booking essential).

• Fishguard, a small unhurried market town with individual shops, pubs (most serving food), cinema, Farmers Market twice monthly and a weekly market (Thursday) is an easy drive away as are some excellent restaurants - Stone Hall Hotel (French cuisine) and 'The Shed' Bistro at Porthgain - wonderful fish.
