- New Quay’s fabulous Blue Flag beaches and picturesque harbour are a 3 minute stroll away along a footpath from this welcoming and comfortable home.
- Perched on a hillside overlooking the clear blue waters of Cardigan Bay there are wonderful uninterrupted coastal views from almost every room.
- Patio doors open from the sitting room with its wood-burning stove onto a paved terrace and a sloping lawn – fabulous views and great spot for sundowners whilst watching the fabulous sunsets over the Bay.

- There is lots to see and do – spot the dolphins from the harbour walls, take a boat trip to discover the varied marine and bird life or just enjoy the ever-changing tableau of sand castle building, beach games, sun and sea sports on the sheltered beach.
- This ever popular holiday resort was once a smuggling and fishing port as well as home to Wales’ famous poet, Dylan Thomas – follow in his footsteps along the ‘Dylan Thomas Trail’ and visit his favourite haunts!
- As well as the beautiful New Quay beaches there are many more to explore nearby; Cilborth, Aberaeron, Aberporth, Mwnt, Poppit Sands, Penbryn, Cwm Tydu, Patch & Gwbert, Tresaith & more.
- Join the dolphin survey vessel on an interactive boat trip to record sightings of marine wildlife.
- The striking ruin of Cilgerran Castle has inspired many artists including Turner.It stands overlooking the Teifi river where it merges with the Plysgog stream. Therefore it was able to patrol both a natural crossing place and the passage of sea going ships. Powerful twin towers remain.
- Do visit this interesting museum and workshop dedicated to coracles from around the world set in a 17th C flour mill.
- Roundhouses and other structures have been rebuilt where they would have originally stood. The fort is the focus of an archaeological excavation in a beautiful woodland setting. Appealing to all ages this makes a fascinating family day out.
- A number of foot paths run through 13 acres of beautiful diverse woodland with oak, ash, sycamore & beech trees. Perfect for exploring with your family & faithful four legged friends.
- Leave your car at home. Cardi Bach buses offer easy access to the Ceredigion Coast Path from Cardigan to New Quay.
- Recently undergone a £7 million redevelopment Theatre Mwldan now offers superb facilities including live performances in 2 auditoria, cinema, gallery, cafe bar and shop.
- If you are in the area during August do make an effort to visit this wonderful non competitive annual event celebrating Welsh ponies & cobs starting at midday.Attractions include world famous stunt riders such as Camilla Naprous, Scurry driving (chariot racing), Pageont, Running of the stallions, Inter Hunt relay race and much more.
- This 100 metre slope is the only ski slope in West Wales. It is flood lit for evening skiing.A team of instructors will teach you the basic skills then you can use the ski lift.
