- At the foot of Cadair Idris, Wales’s second highest mountain, this is a comfortable, spacious bungalow in a stunning location near to the beautiful Mawddach Estuary,
- The L shaped sitting/dining room opens into a small conservatory and there are breathtaking mountain views from the large lawned garden – a lovely peaceful place to relax in.
- A charming honey coloured dining suite seats 6 for formal dining. A pine table in the kitchen is ideal for informal family meals.

- Dolgellau is a handsome dark stoned market town with interesting shops and good restaurants. The monthly farmers’ market is perfect for stocking up on local produce. Local amenities include bank, post office cafe with wifi, supermarket, chemist, doctors surgery, vet and a filling station.
- Fun for all the family with a visitor centre, café, adventure playground, walkways and world class mountain bike trails.
- Machynlleth, a pleasant drive away through spectacular mountain passes, holds a renowned weekly market - no superstores or chain shops but unique locally owned shops selling food, crafts, jewellery and artworks.
- .One of Britain’s most important centres for environmental concerns near Machynlleth is well worth a visit.
- Fun for all the family with a visitor centre, café, adventure playground, walkways and world class mountain bike trails.
- Fairbourne is the nearest beach – park the car and step directly onto the beach. Aberdyfi, further down the coast, is a pretty seaside resort with pastel coloured terraces fronting a large sandy beach and quaint old harbour.
- Barmouth is an easy drive away with its long sandy beaches which stretch up to Shell Island beyond which is the sweeping bay of Harlech – all perfectly peaceful and uncrowded.
- Home of the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways, fascinating Maritime Museum, a variety of interesting and individual shops and a choice of places to eat and drink.

- The family friendly 3 mile Precipice Walk at Dolgellau takes about one and a half hours. It offers stunning views of the Mawddach estaury and Snowdonia
