  • 'Bwthyn y Mor' means 'cottage by the sea' and two superb beaches are only 10 minutes walk away from this delightful bijou holiday cottage (one of a pair) which has been totally renovated.
  • This cosy stylish Llandanwg beach holiday cottage for 2 has a large inglenook in the open plan ground floor, a smart kitchen, dining area and conservatory with lovely views of Shell Island, Llandanwg Beach and the Lleyn Peninsula.
  • The pretty cottage bedroom is decorated with fresh white paintwork and traditional floral patterns, the ceiling is sloped with a a sky light window. Lie in bed and look at the stars.
  • The small mature private garden is a perfect spot to sit in and enjoy the fabulous views, pet dog welcome
  • Historic Harlech with its magnificent castle just 1 mile away has a good range of local amenities including interesting individual shops, Spar, bank, post office, internet cafe, chemist, health centre and a filling station.
Cottage by the sea near Llandanwg & Harlech Beach
  • Llandanwg Beach with its ancient church half hidden in the sand dunes, or the vast open sandy bay of Harlech, reached down the cliff walk (known locally as the 'zig-zag') are both within a 10 minute stroll of this holiday cottage.
Cambrian Railway Line,
  • Llandanwg Station is a 10 minute walk - do try the spectacular train journey on the Cambrian Coast Line to Aberdovey or Pwllheli or choose one of two steam train routes at Porthmadog, one to Caernarfon and one to Blaenau Festiniog.
Fly Llanbedr Limited
  • Learn to fly and take control of an aircraft whilst experiencing the beauty of the area.  You can choose where you’d like to fly locally, whilst the rest of your party relaxes at the cafe, the beach, or visits the local area. 20 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour flights available.

  • The large hide at Pont Croesor is set against the beautiful Snowdonia backdrop. Three widescreen plasma monitors offer you intimate views of Osprey family life direct from their nest. In winter, when the Ospreys have left for the sunnier climes of West Africa, there is still a host of other wildlife to see here. Like the 100+ whooper swans that often feed in neighbouring fields. Don't miss this wonderful site.

Rabbit Farm & Animal Park, Llanystumdwy
  • A wonderful family attraction whatever the weather. Many of the animals are housed in farm buildings. Children will love handling the baby rabbits, guinea pigs and puppies. There is an outside play area and a picnic area.
Precipice Walk Dolgellau
  • This family friendly 3 mile walk takes about one and a half hours and offers stunning views of the Mawddach estuary and Snowdonia.

Lechwedd Slate Caverns
  • Take a unique tour deep into the mountain to explore the life of Victorian Slate Miners.

  • Take a journey aboard the Welsh Highland Railway from Porthmadog to Caernarfon through the spectacular Snowdonia countryside.
Ffestiniog Railway at Porthmadog
  • Take a nostalgic journey aboard this unique train which runs along a narrow gauge track from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Harlech and Shell Island close to Llandanwg holiday cottage
  • Much to enjoy near this pet friendly holiday cottage by the sea near Harlech at Llanfair above Llandanwg beach. The spectacle of observing sea eagles at the Osprey viewing facility provided by the RSPB on the nearby Glaslyn Estuary will be the highlight for many (one of only two breeding sites in Wales).


1 Double Bedroom with en-suite Shower Room (shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin) sleeping a maximum of 2, on 1st floor.

Open Plan ground floor with large inglenook with gas woodburning style stove, 2 x 2 seater sofas, tv/cd/radio, door leading to Conservatory:

Conservatory with 2 seater sofa and occasional furniture.

Kitchen/dining area fully fitted kitchen 2 ring electric hob, no oven but microwave with oven and grill, dishwasher, fridge with ice box, circular dining table and 2 chairs. (The owners, who live next door, are happy for guests to use their washing machine if required.)

Fuel oil central heating inclusive May Sept, £20 per week outside these dates.

Grounds 2 unenclosed lawns with garden furniture.

Parking for 1 car.

WiFi Available.

Welcome FREE 1 well behaved dog. 1 additional dog at £25 per week.
