- The beautiful sheltered sandy Manorbier Bay is a 10 minute walk away along a footpath to National Park coast, ideal for rock pooling, swimming and surfing (lessons available but watch out for undercurrents).
- The village has a post office and well stocked store, hotel, pub and a café for delicious cream teas.
- Tenby 6 miles away has a range of amenities including bank, post office, internet cafe, supermarket, fuel station, chemist, doctor, vet, interesting independent shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and a weekly Wednesday market.

- Tenby, an ever popular resort with its lovely beaches, shops, restaurants and pubs, and the fascinating town of Pembroke with its well-preserved medieval Castle are both an easy drive away.

- St Govans Point is the most southerly point on the Pembrokeshire coast. St Govans Head has some of the finest examples of cliff forms in Britain. Do make your way down the long flight of stone steps to St Govan's tiny 6th C Chapel perched precariously at the bottom of the cliffs. Reputedly a hermitage built by a monk after his miraculous escape from pirates.
- There are enough beautiful beaches near Manorbier Boathouse to choose one for each day of the week - Swanlake Bay, Skrinkle Haven, Broad Haven South, Barafundle, Lydstep, Freshwater East & West,Tenby has 3, Saundersfoot and more.
- Keen fit walkers will enjoy this strenuous 141/2 mile walk. It is spectacularly scenic and varied passing some of Pembrokeshire's most remarkable beaches.
- Try your luck. Wrap up warm and try some winter fishing around the Cleddau estuary - the best time to bag flounder, whiting and cod. Reward yourself with a delicious fish supper.
