  • Situated amid some of the finest countryside Wales has to offer. Cwm Linton (known locally as The Dairyhouse) is close to Montgomery and just 2 minutes on foot from the Offa's Dyke footpath and some wonderful walks.
  • Converted in 2014 and designed to provide luxurious, comfortable accommodation this beautiful home is relaxing and warm all year round with everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday.
  • The immaculate, light and airy d├ęcor extends throughout the 3 bedroom house with a log burning stove, French windows to the terrace and comfortable sofas in the lounge. The logs are inclusive, so no need to go out searching! There is a beautiful open plan kitchen and dining room with vaulted ceiling.
  • Guests can enjoy far reaching views across the countryside to Corndon Hill from the terrace and gardens. You are also very welcome to explore the six acre grounds of the owners small holding and enjoy freshly laid eggs from the resident chickens, as well as fresh seasonal produce from the vegetable garden.
  • Wildlife lovers and bird watchers will enjoy the variety of birds coming and going from the woods behind the cottage.
  • Set within the grounds of the Owners small holding and fully equipped to comfortably accommodate 8 guests this fabulous cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the Welsh/Shropshire border and surrounding countryside.
  • As well as offering access to some of Wales' best walking and cycling routes, the owner (an experienced caterer) lives nearby and can offer you a hearty meal at the end of a long day out in the elements.


  • The local small town of Montgomery is well served with a Michelin starred restaurant (The Checkers), an Indian restaurant, galleries, hairdressers and various cafe's, Inns and individual shops. A market is held weekly in the town hall.

Walks and cycling

  • Kerry Ridgeway - Just a 15 minute walk from the cottage, the Kerry Ridgeway route runs along the ridge top, never dipping below 1000ft.  The glorious far reaching views are truly breath-taking across its entirety along the Welsh English border.
  • Offa's Dyke Path - The path can be joined 2 minutes walk from the cottage. Running along the Welsh English border this 176 mile stroll attracts walkers from all around the world.
Shropshire Way
  • This long distance footpath can be reached from the cottage in 15 minutes on foot.

on first floor with hotel quality bed linen. Large dormer window and 2 light tunnels to maximise the light and airy feel. The ensuite bathroom with contemporary bath and sink unit is down a short flight of stairs from the bedroom.
1 Kingsize bedroom on the ground floor with a neutral colour scheme and hotel quality bed linen.
The family shower room is also found on the ground floor and is fitted with a double-width shower cubicle and rain-shower-style shower, as well as a washbasin and toilet.
Bedroom 3 on the ground floor comfortably sleeps four adults with its beautiful marquetry bed and single-top-double-base bunk bed.
Egyptian cotton towels provided.
Family Bathroom with shower cubicle, wc and washbasin and heated towel rail on the ground floor.
The front door opens into a hallway with plenty of room for coats and boots and log baskets.
Kitchen The bright, newly fitted kitchen is fully equipped to service eight guests and includes the convenience of a full-sized dishwasher and a washing machine. The kitchen sociably over-looks the dining area, and four wide steps take you down to its large dining table (seating 10) which sits under the vaulted ceiling with Freesat/Humax box. From the dining room you get a view down to the lounge and terrace.
Lounge with log burning stove, Smart TV + DVD player, good selection of games, puzzles, books and magazines and a plentiful supply of logs - provided free of charge. French doors open onto the terrace area with far reaching views across the valley.
Grounds Within the fenced garden adjoining the cottage, guests can enjoy a private decked terrace with barbeque (coals Supplied free of charge). There are a table and chairs for eight people.
