5 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 10 plus travel cot. Master double bedroom with en-suite shower room on 2nd floor. 1 double and 1 twin with sea views, 1 double with en-suite shower room and 1 twin all on 1st floor.
Bedlinen & towels provided.
Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin on 1st floor.
Cloakroom with washbasin and toilet on ground floor.
Kitchen luxury fitted kitchen with electric range cooker, integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave. Breakfast table seating 6. French doors (3 steps down) to rear enclosed garden with wishing well with safety cover.

About this cottage:
- Panoramic sea views across Cardigan Bay to the Lleyn Peninsula and Snowdonia from this welcoming, spacious and elegantly furnished house - 'Visit Wales' 5 Star Grade.
- New Quay’s picturesque harbour and beach is a 5 minute drive and the house is ideal for a holiday in any season with light, airy delightfully furnished bedrooms (2 en-suite).
- The luxury kitchen has French doors opening onto a charming sheltered enclosed rear garden.
- Short Breaks are possible at Hafan Dawel. Please phone for availability and prices.
- New Quay is a fascinating harbour village with golden, sandy beaches, a sheltered harbour lined with lobster pots and narrow terraced lanes with pubs, cafes and small shops rising some 300’ to New Quay Head.
- This is the "domain of the dolphin" and a cruise along the Cardigan Bay Marine Heritage coastline is a must - dolphins, porpoise, seals, a wide variety of sea birds and small secluded coves, once well known to smugglers!
- Dylan Thomas lived here and perhaps New Quay and its characters were the inspiration for ‘ Under Milk Wood’. The Cliff Walk was immortalised by Dylan in his poem ‘ Quite Early One Morning’ .
- Lots of activities for all the family to enjoy - sheltered coves, beautiful beaches including little known Cei Bach, fishing, wind surfing, watersports and breathtaking cliff top walks.
- Do visit the nearby Honey Farm - the largest working honey farm in Wales, a short drive from this New Quay holiday home with panoramic sea views.
- An inspiration to many artists including Turner. It stands overlooking the Teifi River where it merges with the Plysgog stream and once controlled the natural crossing place as well as the passage of sea going ships. Powerful twin towers remain.
- There is wonderful walking on the protected Heritage Coast near this holiday property both on the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion paths. Look out for bottlenose dolphins
- Visitors pay as you go in the heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacussi and fitness suite at Coracles Health & Country club in Cenarth.
- Those of you with a sweet tooth must visit Yum Yum Sweet Shop in Cardigan. The biggest selection of sweets in jars in Wales (over 650) also chocolates & sugar free sweets.
- Do visit this fascinating reconstructed Iron Age Fort in a beautiful woodland setting. Take a tour around the fort, learn how a roundhouse was built, enjoy a picnic in the grounds and browse the gift shop.
- Drop in to the Old Bakery antique shop to browse all kinds of everything from militaria to furniture, china, prints, textiles and more.
- Leave from the Crown Inn, Llwyndafydd walk through dense woodland over a bridge above a steep gorge and onto the beach. Stroll across the beach and leave via the kissing gate. Follow the wooded valley towards Nanternis. There is a steep climb. Walk through the village and back to Llwyndafydd where you can enjoy a well deserved drink and delicious meal in the Crown Inn.
- The lovely sandy beach of Llangranog has a Seaside Award Rural Beach. The village lies in a narrow valley with the fast flowing river Hawen passing through. Visitors are well catered for with two pubs, two cafe/restaurants and general store.
- There is much to enjoy near this spacious holiday home in New Quay. Do make time for half dozen quiet country market towns, Teifi Valley,Tregaron & Drover roads across Cambrian Mountains to Llanwrtyd Wells
