Newport home with secret garden near beach and shops

Tucked away in the heart of the small, ancient seaside borough of Newport, this recently refurbished and extended home has an impressive entrance hall with a curved bespoke oak staircase to its new 1st floor.

There are splendid panoramic views of Newport and its surroundings from the triple aspect windows of the 1st floor bedrooms - the coast, sea, estuary and Preseli Mountains.

Newport, with its 2 beaches and surrounding countryside, is a paradise for birdwatchers, walkers, sailors, naturalists, sand and sea lovers alike.

The spectacular links 18 hole golf course overlooks the bay and the club house serves good food and drink!

Forget the car and take a ride on the Poppit Rocket – a daily coastal bus service running between Fishguard and Cardigan or the Preseli Walkers Bus to explore the magical Preseli Mountains, dotted with prehistoric remains, which rise behind Newport.

Cwm yr Eglwys is a picturesque cove a short drive away. Overlooked by the remains of St Bynach’s 12th century church, the sheltered sand and shingle beach is a great family favourite.

Walk Dinas Island Coastal Path

The Dinas Island walk shows the Pembrokeshire coast at its best. Rugged and beautiful. Start at Pwllgwaelod, walk on around the peninsula then through the pretty seaside village of Cwm yr Eglwys and back to Pwllgwaelod.
