3 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 4 folding bed and cot on request, 1 double and 1 single (both with tvs) on 1st floor, 1 very small single bedroom (with radio/cd) on ground floor.

Kitchen galley style kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge with ice box, washer/dryer.

Grounds large unmanicured Mediterranean style garden divided into 5 areas, 1 with a pond and 1 with a series of steps leading down terraces to the waters edge (no handrails, take great care with small children please). Separate enclosed area for dogs. Unsuitable for people with mobility difficulties.

About this cottage:
- A charming waterside property on the old Pembroke Castle Mill Pond full of home comforts right in the heart of Pembroke, just a few minutes walk from the magnificent castle and town centre.
- The unmanicured Mediterranean style garden is divided into individual spaces with terraces tumbling down to the water’s edge where 75 swans, ducks, herons, cormorants and coots wait to be fed - a mini 'Slimbridge'!
- Patio doors open from the lounge onto the terrace overlooking the garden and mill pond which teems with wildlife.
- A terrace and a patio, both with garden furniture and additional chairs and loungers make the most of the grounds and there is a small enclosed area for dogs.
- The ‘Green Bridge’ just a few hundred yards from the property leads over the Mill Pond and is a pleasant short cut into town.
- Local amenities include bank, post offfice, library with internet access, supermarket, delicatessen, pubs, restaurants, filling station, chemist, doctor, vet and a Saturday fortnightly Farmer's Market.
- The South Pembrokeshire Heritage Coast reaches 40 miles from Caldey Island near Tenby to Angle Bay in the Haven Waterway.
- Pembrokeshire National Park is an area of rugged cliffs, coastal foot path, glorious beaches, sleepy villages, abundant wildlife, rare wild plants and picturesque castles.
- Pembroke is a bustling old market town with an excellent delicatessen, several places to eat and drink, individual shops including book shops, antiques, Welsh gifts and a tourist information centre.
- Pembroke Castle birth place of Henry VII is a magnificent stronghold on the banks of the river estuary with well kept grounds, ideal for picnics and is the venue for many exciting events such as historical reinactment days, falconry displays and music festivals.
- Barafundle, Freshwater East and West, Broad Haven South and Tenby, a popular family seaside resort since Victorian times, are all within a short drive.
- Do take an unforgettable boat trip to the off shore islands, home to many important seabird colonies - take your camera and binocular and look out for seals, porpoise, dolphins and whales on route.
- The 186 mile path follows the heritage coast and covers the entire Pembrokeshire National Park. Breathtaking views, abundant wildlife and rare wild flowers will delight. Walkers bus and boat services will pick you up and drop you off at locations along the way.
- The delightful freshwater ponds are full of lilies in bloom during June. Take your swimming costume on a pleasant walk which skirts the ponds and leads to the magnificent sandy beach of Broad Haven South popular with families and surfers. Pop into the tea room or the local pub in Bosherston village for refreshments on your way home.
- Stackpole is a pretty village with an award winning pub which serves delicious food. The tiny historic quay has a tea room where you can take a rest before walking the 10 to 15 minutes over the headland to the award winning glorious golden sandy Barafundle beach often referred to as the ‘jewel in the crown’ of UK beaches. The steep steps down the cliffs will reward you with a quiet sun trap, fabulous swimming, caves to explore and spectacular views of Caldey Island.
- A holy island since Celtic times this beautiful island has been home to Cistercian monks for a thousand years. Visitors are welcomed to this haven of peace and tranquility where they can picnic on the lovely beaches, explore the countryside and visit parts of the Grade II listed monastery. The monks produce chocolate, perfume and shortbread all on sale in the island’s shop. Boat trips to the island leave from Tenby Harbour.
