The delightful cottage bedroom has a sloped ceiling, gaze at the stars skylight windows, pastel decor and comfortable furnishings.

The excellent village shop, post office and off licence, Bayview Stores, sells groceries, papers, angling supplies and offers a delivery service within the Solva area.

St Davids / Solva SSSI & NT

National Trust open moorland, an SSSI and Nature Reserve, home to skylarks and wild orchids is just across the lane - wonderful for botanists, bird watchers, walkers and dogs! Welsh Black cattle & ponies graze here.

There is an easy 1 mile spectacular walk for nature lovers behind Larkhill Cottage. Walk up Solva Valley Gorge past Carn yr Fran Cottage and through Trewellell Lane.

Close to the tiny hamlets of Caerfarchell (pottery) and Middle Mill (woollen mill) in the centre of St Davids Peninsula. The pretty, small harbour village of Solva with shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away (11/2 miles).

St Davids is Britain's smallest city with a magnificent medieval Cathedral at its heart. In reality a village with a variety of shops, galleries, crafts and a choice of places to eat and drink. Do take the opportunity to book a memorable boat trip out to the spectacular off lying bird islands.

Skomer Island National Nature Reserve

15 minutes from Martin's Haven, a protected National Nature Reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest. The most important breeding ground for Manx Sheerwaters and Puffins as well as many other sea birds. A small number of visitors is allowed on the island at one time. Keen walkers will enjoy this 11 mile wild & rocky walk over some of the oldest rocks in Britain dating from the pre Cambrian period. Hail a dedicated walkers bus to take you back to your starting point.
