We visit Anglesey regularly for day trips to Newborough Warren & Beaumaris, but never holidayed here. What a lovely unique cottage in a very peaceful location to have our first. We loved the wood burning stove in the fantastic main room, so relaxing and comforting, loved the ‘farm house’ style kitchen too. Great food at The Ship Inn, Red Wharf Bay, loved our warm sunny afternoon at Moelfre especially the tea and homemade chocolate and victoria sandwich cakes at Anne’s Pantry. The Hidden Gardens at Plas Cadnant are a fantastic surprise at the end of a lovely driveway. Well worth a visit to a garden lover. Great holiday.

Had a really relaxing week, weather was good, we could see storms over Snowdonia whilst lovely here! The Bulkeley in Beaumaris does great coffee and you can take the dogs and they even do cakes for them. The coastal walks are fantastic, very enjoyable. Thank you very much.

Lovely week at the cottage. The weather has been quite kind, the views of the snow covered mountains spectacular. Granddaughter voted it the best cottage we have stayed and we all agree. The Castle in Beaumaris is well worth a visit as is Pili Palas. The mountain zoo is as the name implies with a walk up and down the hill.

Fantastic time at the cottage and we were so luck with the weather. Comfortable and well equipped and a great base to explore the island. Had lovely meals at The Ship Inn at Red Wharf Bay, The White Eagle, Bishopsgate Hotel and Bulkeley Hotel in Beaumaris. Golf Course next door is a bonus! Great walks at Newborough forest, Breakwater Country Park and South Stack lighthouse…. Hope to return.

What a delightful place, thank you so much for sharing it! Sitting in the back garden on a sunny February day with my morning coffee and my dog sitting on the grass listening to the family giggle around the house, collecting sticks for the fire, all golden memories. All of us say, thank you so much. We will be back.

We have had a really super week. Celebrated a birthday and Valentines Day. We have had wind, rain and sunshine, the island is superb whatever the weather. We have felt so at home here, such a beautiful house, and every facility you could wish for. Don’t miss going to Newborough beach and Llandwyn island off it, it’s just magical. We will definitely be back. The Smithy is also doggy heaven. Thank you. Diolch!
