2 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 4 plus cot. 1 twin on the ground floor and 1 double (with king size bed) on the 1st floor. Bedlinen & towels provided.
Wet Room with shower, toilet and washbasin on the ground floor.
Bathroom on 1st floor with bath (hand held shower), toilet, bidet and washbasin.
Kitchen/Diner country style fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, table and chairs seating 6. Highchair. Patio doors to enclosed courtyard. Seating area with 2 leather tub chairs and second set of patio doors to enclosed courtyard.
Sitting Room woodburning stove, 2 x 2 seater sofas, Freeview tv/dvd/, cd/radio, stairs to 1st floor.
Fuel oil central heating inclusive May – September, £30 per week outside these dates. Starter pack of logs – additional logs available for purchase locally.
Grounds enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue, enclosed part gravelled/paved area to front. Large paddock for dog walking nearby (accessed through owners grounds)

About this cottage:
- A rural idyll in the midst of Pembrokeshire’s lush fertile rolling farmland - and your pets are welcome too!
- This is a beautifully presented cottage, one of a pair, (full residential services and standards) and the cosy, comfortably furnished sitting room has a woodburning stove with a staircase to a bedroom and bathroom on the 1st floor.
- An ideal cottage for the not so agile with a wet room and twin bedroom on the ground floor.
- There is a sub post office in the village of Crundale 5 miles away on route to the county town of Haverfordwest 6 miles away which has a range of amenities including banks, post office, library with internet facilities, supermarkets, M&S, pubs, restaurants, filling stations, chemists , doctors, vet and interesting independent shops. A Farmer's Market is held every other Friday beside the river - excellent local produce.
- Llys y Fran Reservoir & Country Park which has an off road cycle trail (7.5m around the lake – bikes can be hired) country walks, a trout fishery, restaurant and gift shop all within a short drive.
- Scolton Manor (3m), near the historic county town of Haverfordwest, has a museum, nature trails, garden centre, visitor centre and a good tea room – a great family day out.
- (1m from the town) is a challenging 18 hole course surrounded by breathtaking rolling countryside.
- The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with its coastal path, beaches and rugged scenery – Strumble Head, Fishguard and Newport to the north and Newgale, Broad Haven and the whole of St Brides Bay to the south – is within an easy drive.
- Picton Castle just outside Haverfordwest was built in the 13th C. The principal rooms were remodelled in the 1750's and are now open for afternoon guided tours. The magnificent 40 acre woodland gardens are open to the public. There is a shop, a gallery, a cafe and a restaurant.
- Vist the beautiful off shore islands with Dale sailing to enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery and exceptional marine wildlife. Choose the traditional Dale Sea Safari which leaves from Dale or fast rib Dale Princess which leaves from Martin's Haven.
- Relax in the Pembrokeshire countryside and sample some of the local wines at this family run vineyard.
- Enjoy an afternoon perusing the individual shops featuring local crafts, produce and antiques. Relax and enjoy a coffee or a delicious meal in Ultra Comedia Deli/Restaurant specialising in Welsh, Spanish and French produce.
- Haverfordwest rises from the river at its foot up busy hilly streets full of individual shops, cafes and retaurants to the new sports centre on one side of town and the castle now a museum on the other overlooking the town and the Preseli Hills in the distance. The Bristol Trader pub beside the river serves good pub food. Haverfordwest Golf Club lies just on the outskirts of town along the A40
- Dial a ride bus service for walkers and other travellers. Leave your car at home. Take a walk and get the bus back. Phone in advance to make arrangements 08456 860242
- Do visit the picturesque little village of Cenarth with the river tumbling through, look for leaping salmon, take a waterside walk and see the Coracle Museum.
