Porthmadog is a bustling market town at the Southern entrance to the Lleyn Peninsula. It even has a Tesco store – a rarity in these parts. Three railway services connect at the town – The National Cambrian Railway, the steam train to Blaenau Ffestiniog and The Welsh Highland Railway (opened 2009). All three traverse through spectacular scenery. Your car and chauffer may appreciate a few days rest whilst you explore Snowdonia and the Cambrian coast by train. Several sandy coves to be found at Borth y Gest. You can take your car onto the three mile beach at Black Rock Sands. Cwm Pennant – a valley famed in Welsh literature for its beauty and solitude – The creme de la creme of hill landscapes – near Bryncir Woollen Mill.
