- Accommodation is arranged over 2 floors, the spacious open plan sitting/dining/kitchen and en-suite double bedroom are on the 2nd floor - sloping ceilings and beautifully restored original beams (restricted headroom in places).
- Fishguard 4 miles away has a range of amenities including bank, post office, internet cafe, supermarket, filling station, chemist, doctor, vet and interesting independent shops. A Farmer's Market is held every Saturday morning in the town hall - excellent local produce.
Strumble Head Peninsula (PenCaer) and North Pembrokeshire
- Strumble Head (Pen Caer) is a glorious wild stretch of coast and the lighthouse on Ynys Meicel is accessible via a footbridge twice a year.
- Small ‘secret’ coves to discover including Pwll Arian (Silver Cove), Porth Maenmelyn and Pwll Deri where seals play - a walkers, naturalists, photographers and bird watchers paradise.
- Porth Sychan easily accessible from Lighthouse Watch is an ideal place from which to observe coastal wildlife including dolphins, porpoise and sometimes whales.
Goodwick
- An easy drive away is the village of Goodwick which has small shops, a post office, restaurants and pubs, a tourist information centre and a daily ferry service to Ireland.
Fishguard Bay & Town
- Fishguard Bay is a huge stretch of water - wonderful for watersports, sailing, wind surfing, water skiing and Fishguard itself is a small, timeless market town with a variety of shops, cinema and leisure centre.
