- The cottage is in a beautiful location set on the wide, lush plain between Snowdonia and the sea which leads on to the Lleyn Peninsula, Caernarfon, Snowdon and the Isle of Angelsey.
- Discover historic castles - Caernarfon, Conwy and Beaumaris and National Trust properties of Plas Newydd and Penrhyn Castle.
- Visit the Welsh Slate Museum in Llanberis and the Sygun Copper Mine in Beddgelert - a spectacular underground audio visual experience.
- Climb Snowdon or take the little railway up to the summit.
