Pembrokeshire holiday cottage
  • A pretty, small Pembrokeshire cottage, ideal for a peaceful 'get away from it all holiday'.
  • The cottage is tastefully furnished and decorated throughout but please note, no television but free WiFi Broadband connection.
  • An original inglenook with a woodburning stove at one end and a small open fire at the other make the sitting room cosy and welcoming.
  • Both bedrooms are on the 1st floor and have sloping ceilings (restricted headroom) with a twin ‘walk through’ into the master double.
  • The end one of a row of 3 cottages there is a pretty front garden overlooking a small village green and a delightful secluded small rear courtyard garden, ideal for al fresco eating.

  • Newport and surrounding coast
  • Pwlgwaelod, a small sandy beach with The Sailors Safety for good bar food (open 11 am - 11 pm) and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path are 0.5m away down the hill.
  • Picturesque Cwm yr Eglwys with its sand and shingle beach overlooked by the remains of 12th century St Brynach’s Church is within walking distance and the coastal walk around Dinas ‘Island’ should not be missed. There is a good local general store in nearby Dinas Cross and the local – ‘The Ship Aground’- does good take- away curries.
  • Newport, a bustling small seaside town, is a short drive away – there is a links golf course, two sandy beaches, Parrog and Newport Sands, great for watersports and beach games. There are several exceptional restaurants here, pubs, craft shops and a good butchers.
  • Fishguard is a small market town (Thursday - lots of local produce for sale) with a selection of individual shops, award winning butchers/fishmongers and a newly refurbished Town Hall where the ‘Last Invasion of Britain’ Tapestry is displayed.
  • ACCOMMODATION:
    2 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 4.   1 twin ‘walk through’ and 1 double on 1st floor.
    Bedlinen & Towels provided.
    Shower Room on ground floor (3 steps down from sitting room) with shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin.
    Kitchen (3 steps down from sitting room) well appointed small kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, larder fridge. Freezer in outdoor shed.
    Sitting Room 2 x 2 seater sofas, woodburning stove in inglenook, small open fire, desk, cd/radio, stairs to 1st floor and door to
    Sun Room with dining table and chairs seating 4, laundry cupboard with washing machine and tumble drier.  French doors to rear sunny secluded enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, small barbecue and chimenea.
