Tucked away in the heart of the small, ancient seaside borough of Newport this comfortably furnished and well equipped bungalow has a surprise – a small ‘secret’ garden. The light and airy sitting room has patio doors on 2 sides opening onto a large covered veranda with outdoor lighting and a large table and chairs, ideal for al-fresco dining. There is ample parking for cars and boats. Within a short walk there is a Natural Healthcare Centre, art and craft galleries, tennis courts, small, specialist shops, pubs with bar food, and very good restaurants including Cnapan and Llys Meddyg.

Newport, with its 2 beaches and surrounding countryside, is a paradise for birdwatchers, walkers, sailors, naturalists, sand and sea lovers alike. The spectacular links golf course (upgraded to 18 holes in 2008) overlooks the bay and the newly re-furbished club house serves good food and drink! Forget the car and take a ride on the Poppit Rocket – a daily coastal bus service running between Fishguard and Cardigan or the Preseli Walkers Bus to explore the magical Preseli Hills, dotted with prehistoric remains, which rise behind Newport. Cwm yrs Eglwys is a picturesque cove a short drive away. Overlooked by the remains of St Bynach’s 12th century church, the sheltered sand and shingle beach is a great family favourite.
