A luxurious hideaway surrounded by 107 acres of private woodland and rolling farmland. This stylish conversion of the 1st floor of a stone barn is set at the end of a long, curving drive. The furnishings, fabrics, light fittings and décor are of the very highest residential standards and there are lots of photographs of local scenes including the surfer’s favourite - ‘The Green Cathedral’. A curved wooden staircase leads from the entrance hall up to the open plan sitting/dining kitchen with wooden floors, a leather corner sofa and oval dining table with leather chairs. The fitted kitchen has an electric cooker with a rather splendid extractor hood and stairs lead up to a ‘mezzanine’ where there are 2 bedrooms and a smart bathroom. Lovely views from the sitting room over a woodland glade with ponds and the farmhouse lawn dotted with mature trees. The owners of this small stud farm, who breed champion Welsh Cobs, also have a small flock of sheep.
St Brides Bay
Broad Haven with its safe, golden sands is popular for watersports of every kind – small boats can be launched from the beach - and there is a pub/restaurant, café, surf hire shop and a well stocked shop/post office. Little Haven is a quaint seaside village with a pretty sandy cove and several pubs/restaurants and Druidstone Haven is a beautiful beach, reached down a long, steep path, bounded by towering rock faces home to myriad sea birds - more than a mile of smooth, golden sands at low tide - is overlooked by the Druidstone Hotel (open all day and all year) - good food and wine. Lots to see and do close to this luxury holiday accommodation.
