Holiday cottage in Solva
Solva village, quayside, harbour and beach are all only a 5 minute walk away along a footpath from this quaint little holiday cottage tucked away in a terrace of 8. Spotlessly clean and simply furnished, the cottage has sea viewsfrom both bedrooms. Across a tiny lane (not suitable for cars) there is a small enclosed garden which leads onto a ‘hidden’ footpath (a bit of a secret) with 2 stiles before it joins the Coastal Path.
Solva and surroundings.
Solva harbour is a fine example of a Ria (a melt-water channel from the ice age} and has been in use as a safe haven since the 14th century. It developed into a major trading centre during the late 19th century when sailing ships went directly to America from here. Now the harbour is used mainly by pleasure boats and for a variety of water sports including diving, kayaking and dinghy sailing. There is lots to see and do nearby - walk the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with its stunning scenery and wild life or exploring away from the coast along tiny country lanes – do visit the Middle Mill, a charming picnic spot, and its woollen mill which has been in production for the last century. Solva has a range of shops, pubs, restaurants and art galleries and St Davids with its magnificent medieval Cathedral and Newgale, one of the finest surfing beaches in Pembrokeshire are both within a short drive of this holiday cottage in Solva.

Bathroom with toilet, washbasin and bath with shower over on 1st floor.
Kitchen galley style with fitted units, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/drier.
Dining Room table and chairs seating 4.
Sitting Room 1 x 2 seater sofa and 2 armchairs, Freeview tv/dvd/video, cd/radio, open fire (in use) and stairs to 1st floor.
Fuel electric storage heaters inclusive May – September £10 per week outside these dates.
