Newly restored to a very high standard, this spacious and comfortable home sleeps up to 10 people with a lounge and dining room at the front.
Two leather sofas, wooden floors and feature stone fireplace make the sitting room welcoming and comfortable.
A rear conservatory overlooks a large garden with wooden benches placed in the shade of mature apple and pear trees.
The bedrooms, (2 en-suite) are well equipped and four have lovely views of the Castle and the fifth has views of the garden and towards Snowdonia.
With a homely atmosphere, the house is popular with both large and small groups and is ideal for an off-season short break (WSB).

Morfa Nefyn, Black Rock Sands, Traeth Beaches

Excellent beaches are nearby and 2 within 150 metres walk of this late Victorian town house in Castle Square just below the ruins of Criccieth castle.

Criccieth & Lleyn Peninsula

Criccieth is a pristine resort with 2 Blue Flag beaches, one either side of the romantic ruined Welsh castle. There are excellent locally owned shops, supermarket, banks, post office, fuel station, internet cafe, chemist, doctor, pubs, high quality restaurants and tea rooms all within walking distance. Cadwalader’s ice cream and a nearby fish and chip shop make a delicious quick and easy meal – a great alternative to cooking! Markets are held on Wednesdays and Sundays (May - Sept)

Llyn Coastal Path near Criccieth holiday home

The Coastal Path can be joined here and as it meanders inland it reaches Llanystumdwy, the childhood home of Lloyd George, where there is a museum and very special riverside woodland walks to enjoy.

RSPB Hide Glaslyn The only breeding pair of Ospreys in Wales

Ospreys nest on the Glaslyn River inland from Porthmadog and the RSPB have a ‘hide’ here and cameras in the nest to show live footage of the bird's development, with the backdrop of Snowdon this is a lovely spot and a good starting point from which to explore Snowdonia.

RSPB Ynys hir

Near Machynlleth, 7 hides within the Welsh oak woodland and wet grassland. Look out for birds of prey. The visitors centre has a shop and cafe.

Llanberis Lake Railway

Enjoy spectacular views of Snowdonia from your seat on the train. Look out for 13th C Dolbadarn Castle before passing the scenic shores of Padarn Lake on the way to Penllyn.

Porthmadog, Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog is home to The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways. One at each end of town.

The Fairbourne Railway

Buy one ticket at Fairbourne and ride all day on this 1895 railway from Fairbourne to Barmouth. Llanstumdwy Boyhood Home of Lloyd George
Do visit the picturesque village of Llanstumdwy the boy hood home and museum of great 20th C statesman Lloyd George. Across the road is Tafarn y Plu a traditional family friendly Welsh inn serving real ales and good pub food.
