Cwm Tydu, a beautiful sandy cove, is a stone’s throw from this smartly and comfortably furnished ground floor apartment. There are views across the valley and to the sea from the front terrace and an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge. French doors open onto the front terrace – great for al fresco dining and with electric under-floor heating throughout this is an ideal home for a holiday at any time of the year.

Cwm Tydu was once the haunt of smuggler’s but is now owned and managed by the National Trust – a true gem where the Tydu river spills over golden sands and seals and their pups can often be spotted in September. The coastal path offers stunning views – across to the Lleyn Peninsula on a clear day. Why not walk along the cliff tops past Seal Bay, Bird Rock with colonies of nesting birds, the Coastguard Station where the path is full of wild flowers and then into New Quay for well earned refreshments! The Crown Inn at Llywndafydd (1.5m) is an 18th century inn set at the head of the Tydu Valley – good food, real ale and a warm welcome for all. New Quay, a picturesque seaside town, the village of Llangrannog and bustling Aberporth are all near to this holiday home in Cwm Tydu.
