  • Join the woodland walk at Lleiniog - a perfect habitat for breeding birds, see and listen to the willow warbler, chiff chaff, robin, song thrush and blackbird.
Beaumaris & Starider Boat Trips
  • Perhaps the prettiest town in North Wales with its romantic 13th Century castle, beautiful medieval and Georgian houses, Victorian pier, excellent restaurants and stylish shops is a short drive away.
  • Starider Boat Trips leave Beaumaris Pier to enjoy marine wildlife and breathtaking scenery. You can also arrange a fishing trip with an experienced skipper to help you.
New Welsh Highland Railway
  • This unique narrow gauge rail journey operates between Porthmadog and Caernarfon. Allow some time to explore each of the interesting towns at either end of your excursion. The Caernarfon train leaves from near Caernarfon Castle. It passes through the foothills of Snowdon, climbs up to Rhyd Ddu before zigzagging steeply down to Beddgelert moving through breathtaking scenery all the way.
