  • Located in the centre of Criccieth there is lots within walking distance, 2 lovely beaches, excellent shops and restaurants, bank, internet cafe, chemist, supermarket, post office, filing station and health centre - do sample the famous Cadwalladers ice cream a few doors away.

  • Walk from Y Lon Goed & Lloyd George Museum
  • The Coastal Path can be joined at Criccieth this section goes inland through one of the areas prime features Y Lon Goed - an oak lined avenue much celebrated in Welsh poetry. Include in this walk a visit to the Lloyd George Museum at Llanystundwy and visit his grave romantically situated on the wooded river bank.

  • Portmeirion & Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Railway

  • The Welsh Highland Railway cuts a swath through the Snowdonia National Park from Caernarfon to Beddgelert with the final leg joining the Ffestiniog Railway at Porthmadog harbour in Spring 2010.

  • Hafod Eryri is the new Visitors Centre and Café on the summit of Snowdon - take a leisurely train ride up to the summit for those who dont fancy the 8 mile climb for a cream tea!

  • Shell Island & Beachcombing
  • Shell Island between Harlech and Barmouth is a wonderful beachcombing area, particularly after severe storms when an abundance of shells are washed up onto the beach.

    Winter Lounge exposed stone work with multifuel burner, 1 x 3 seater and 1 x 2 seater sofas, Freeview tv, radio, dining table seating 5 plus bench.
