Walkers Cottage near Pembrokeshire Coast Path
  • A charming stone cottage set down a private drive with access to a footpath which leads directly onto the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path – a wonderful base for walkers.
  • Comfortably furnished and in a quiet, rural location there are views across the picturesque North Pembrokeshire countryside from the ground floor, sea views from the 1st floor and a large garden, ideal for children and dogs to play in.

Last Invasion of Britain
  • The cottage, one of a pair, is on the historic Trehowel farm estate where the 300 year old farmhouse was used as the headquarters for General Tate during the famous ‘Last Invasion of Britain’ – an event depicted in a locally sewn tapestry displayed in Fishguard Town Hall.
Pembrokeshire Coastal Path/Strumble Head
  • This is unrivalled walking country with some of the finest coastal scenery in Britain as well as fantastic bird and marine life.
  • Strumble Head with its lighthouse (open to the public a couple of times a year) also has a bird observatory.
Pwll Deri Seal Colony

Fishguard & Farmers Market
  • Fishguard, a short drive away, is a small, bustling market town and is recommended in the Lonely Planet Guide (2010).
  • Farmers Markets are held regularly and there are individual shops including Jane’s Haberdashery, an art gallery, cinema, leisure centre, a variety of eating places, including Bar Five - the Tourism Award winner 2008 'Best Dining Experience in Pembrokeshire' and is situated in a listed Gerogian town house in the heart of the town.
Fishguard Music Festival
  • Fishguard hosts an internationally renowned music festival in late July and an Agricultural Show in August - a great family day out – and do visit picturesque Lower Town where Dylan Thomas’s ‘Under Milk Wood’ was filmed and stop for a drink at the historic Ship Inn.
River Fishing on the Nevern
  • The Nevern is a mixed game fishery with sea trout known locally as sewin, from May to early September and brown trout all year round. Try your luck.
