- Situated in a very scenic area of Mid Wales, on the banks of the River Bechan with lovely views of St Beauno’ s Church on one side and of two ornamental lakes on the other.
- A wealth of oak beams, oak woodwork throughout and a very grand oak staircase - all the oak grown on the owners estate and handcrafted locally.
- Two large, open stone fireplaces, a lovely oak dining table, lots of luxurious loungers, antique dressers, Indian rugs and oil paintings.
- Each bedroom has en-suite facilities. The wrought iron bedsteads have been made by the local blacksmith.

Mid Wales, Countryside, Newtown & Local Acrivities
- An area of great serenity, unspoilt countryside, the Severn Valley and a wealth of local history.
- The ancient market towns of Newtown and Welshpool nearby have many shops, restaurants, a theatre, cinema and leisure centre.
- Fishing, golf, horse riding, quad trekking and shooting are available locally.
Powis Castle & Gregynog Hall
- Powis Castle and Gardens and Montgomery Canal are only 9 miles away and the Snowdonia National
- Park and coast are all within an hours drive.
- Gregynog Hall, formerly owned by the David Davies family of Llandinam is 2.5 miles away with gardens open to the public, do visit Chirk Castle and 'Seventh Heaven', one of Europe's largest specialist antique bed shops, is well worth visiting - quite an experience even if you don't want a new bed!
Horse Drawn Carriage Driving
- Do try a ride in a carriage or driving yourself. Have a go sessions are available at this fast growing sport in Llanidloes
Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway
- Built to link farming communities with the market town of Welshpool. The train climbs and curls through a rural patchwork with wildlife all around. There will be time for you to enjoy a cup of tea in the tea room, to browse in the shop and stroll along the river bank before you return.
