In the tiny, peaceful hamlet of Mabws Fawr this is an extremely well furnished and equipped home set in a row of 7 stone cottages, all converted from a large, traditional Pembrokeshire long stone barn. There are beautiful wooden floors throughout the ground floor and coastal panoramic views from the 1st floor. The woodburning stove and central heating ensure a comfortable stay at any time of the year. Views from the terrace and garden over the valley to the hilltop village of Mathry and Garn Fawr towards Abermawr and Strumble Head.
Pembrokeshire National Park
The Pembrokeshire National Park and Coastal Path is a 10 minute drive - sandy beaches, coves, harbours, (a score within 15 minutes motoring from Newgale through Solva to Fishguard) cliff top walks, wild flowers, birds and a large seal population. Mathry is close by - pub serving good food, cabinet makers workshop, (Jim Harries), Stephanie's Tea Room with home made cakes (calories & gossip galore!) village shop and Church. "Cottage Caterers" gourmet take-away is just outside the village. St Davids (Cathedral, ruined Bishops Palace, shops, restaurants, art galleries etc) and Fishguard - (small bustling market town and an Irish Ferry Terminal) are both within a short, easy drive.
