Llangranog cottage
- Bronwylfa, a period terraced villa, once a coastguard residence, is quietly situated above the village centre and one of the two beautiful sandy coves of Llangranog. The hidden cove of Cilborth is reached at low tide by walking along the beach past the famous Careg Bica (Devil's Tooth Rock), or by the panoramic cliff path with fine views along the Heritage Coast.
- In a wonderful location for a family holiday - simple, comfortable furnishings and a south facing terraced patio area at the rear on two levels. The private, sheltered ‘sun trap' patio has a dining table and chairs - ideal for outdoor dining or just sit and relax in the front garden, listen to the sound of the waves breaking below and watch the comings and goings across the Bay.
- Llangranog has 2 pubs, 2 cafes and gifts shops. For full provisioning, post office, fuel and banks visit the thriving market town of Cardigan about 10 miles away.
Cardigan Bay Heritage Coast
- Plenty of activities for all ages locally including a 9 hole golf course, walking, riding, fishing, boat trips, sailing at Tresaith and New Quay and a swimming pool and dry ski slope at the Urdd Youth Camp just outside Llangrannog
Teifi River Valley
- The Cardiganshire countryside inland is truly lovely with some of the finest scenic motoring in Wales - rolling green hillsides, the tranquil wooded, lush Teifi River Valley scattered with timeless market towns and further inland the old drovers roads wind through wild countryside populated only by sheep and red kites. - do visit the ruined Strata Florida Abbey and the ‘Mountains of the Moon' landscape at the Teify Pools above Tregaron.
Theatre Mwldan & Internal Fire Museum
- An award winning venue for art, events, theatre and cinema in the heart of Cardigan.
- Do visit the fascinating Internal Fire Museum of Power in Tanygroes. It is dedicated to the history of the internal combustion engine in industry throughout the last 100 years. 20 working engines are on display and changed on a yearly basis.
Dolphins, seals & birds near Llangranog Beach
- This is the Cardigan Bay Heritage Coast (dedicated to the protection of dolphins, seals and sea birds) with a spectacular, unspoilt coastline, wonderful cliff walks and uncrowded beaches, many under the jurisdiction of the National Trust all close to this holiday cottage overlooking Beach at Llangrannog.
The Teifi Trail & Bird Watching at Cilgerran Gorge
- A sequence of walking routes has been developed following the Teifi from its source to its estuary. Ask for information in the Tourist Information Centre in Cardigan.
- Bird Watching at Cilgerran Gorge is a delight look out for riverside and woodland birds.
Cliff Hotel Restaurant
- The Cliff Hotel Restaurant with breathtaking views overlooking Cardigan Bay offers fine dining recommended by Egon Ronay. Watch the sun setting over the bay from your table.
New Quay
- Do vist the popular waterside town of New Quay with golden sandy beaches and sheltered harbour from where you can take a boat trip out to see the dolphins. Stroll the Dylan Thomas Trail passing Dylan's favourite haunts. Visit the honey farm and enjoy eating and drinking in one of the many cafes, bars and restaurants.
New Quay Boat Trips & Poppit Rocket Bus Service
- Choose a one or two hour trip along rhe Ceredigion Heritage Coast to see local wildlife including dolphins. Remember your binoculars and camera.
- Leave your car at home and take advantage of the Poppit Rocket Bus Service which runs between Cardigan and Newport.
- There is much to enjoy near this Llangranog holiday cottage.
